tuesday tidbits...

Phew...I'm back from a fun weekend in Orlando...
What a BLAST!! ...Fun in the sun!
Oh wait...make that fun in the HOTEL...

I didn't actually see the sun!

I taught 2 classes...we made studio 490 grunge flowers in one & we made a cute Maya Road hanging in the other.
Both were a hit, which makes me very happy.

I demoed nonstop for 2 full days...I LOVE LOVE LOVE that!

Lesson learned...stampers LOVE to SHOP...

The Stampers Anonymous booth was buzzing the entire time...
some gals spent the whole weekend there with me...
I'm sure they were just doing their best to help the economy...
believe me...THEY DID!

You guys know who you are!!
THANKS so much!!

Lesson learned...BUY it when you see it.
If it's being demoed...it's ALL gone quickly...then you have to place an order & not have it in your hot little hands when you leave...sad...

Lesson Learned...it's HOT without AC in Orlando...

Lesson learned...leave the camera @ home...
I didn't use it AGAIN!

Lesson learned...don't get into a car with strangers...
but hey...they turned out to be sweet friends.
Thanks TERRY & CO for inviting me to join you guys for dinner.
That was fun!

More tidbits...

Remember that giveaway I promised to celebrate my book?

Here's a peek @ what Ranger sent...look!!!!!!!!!! They sent...

EVERY product I used in the book...NOT just the inks...

They even included a craft sheet!
I see Perfect pearls...and lots more...

Some lucky blog poster will have fun playing with all this...

I'm not exactly sure what we'll do for the drawing...
but I will keep you updated here...

And speaking of giveaways...
Michelle, Mrs. Stampers Anonymous, gave me something COOL to give away...

I think we'll do that later this week.

Next stop on the art adventure is the stamping convention in CARSON California...

I can't wait...

tim & I have something special...

VERY SPECIAL planned...here's a peek...

We'll be making..........?????????

WE'LL???

WHAT?????????

That's a story for another day...

Stay tuned...and while you're waiting...

make art!

wendy

ps...one more tidbit...
for those of you begging to see my new stamps...they're here...
and they've been in previous posts too...
I'm just saying...
keep your eyes open...

  2. WOW! Ranger's one awesome company, for sure!!

And you are just now learning that stampers will BUY? *lol* I think I showed that quite well at the Columbus show ... how many trips did I make back to SA's booth?? ;o)

You & Tim are getting us cruisers SO excited! I awoke this morning, thinking I could spend all day this Friday creating - you 2 have my fingers itching to get at it! - but then I remembered my 40th high school reunion dinner is Friday night. Hmmm ... maybe having incredibly inky fingers will give us all a starting place for conversation? ;o)

  4. Sounds like FL was interesting. No A/C ( typical breakdown for that convention center), no time to shop ( think of the money you saved), spent all day demoing ( able to meet and great so many like minded addicts, and talk with them and just enjoy doing what you do).

The golden rule, if you bring it you will not use it, if you forget it you will miss it big time--- your camera. I bet if you ask the list, folks will send you pics of yourself and the area.

How cool of Ranger to send you that box of goodies. And how super generous of you to prize it away.

Have fun in CA- do not forget a little portable fan for that one

  11. Wendy Sounds like your having some fun times:)
Well I must share something with you. I have been mostly a Paper crafter. But someone gave me some Clay to try out. Its the Air Hardening clay. So last night I let my Little girl use some of it. She made a little man she says is daddy.
I got the idea to make some Inchies.
I have used wax, paper, charms, metal and etc on my Inchies before. So I thought why not Clay.:)
Well I did it. I cut them and used a stamp to make some designs in them. Let them dry over night. This morning I was looking at them trying to figure out what to do with them. Then it hit me use some Perfect Pearls. WOW They look great. I am hooked on these Perfect Pearls. There so pretty.
I will have to post on my blog so you can see them:)

Anyways just wanted to share my excitement with trying something new and different.

Thats a great looking package from Ranger. LOVE there PRODUCTS!!!

    Love you and Tim too:)

    Have a Great Day!

  13. So much excitement! You sure work hard and have fun!

Do you have a "travel" camera? One of those slim little digital numbers that you can wear around your neck, stick in a pocket or purse? Maybe that would make it easier to record your adventures for your faithful blog followers (wink)!

  20. Wendy -

Glad you are back home safe, exhausted but happy! The goodies from Ranger look super. And yes, I fear that stampers may be as bad as gamblers when it comes to our poison of choice. I know I have a bad case of the "I have to have that"!

    Welcome Home!
