Anyway, I do have a question today. What color of distress ink was used on the flower in your very cool antique film frame?
I used my new fav distress ink..brushed corduroy for the flower in the previous post.
In the past I used vintage photo on everything...
but the last month or 2 brushed corduroy is in first place...
HOWEVER...
I REALLY love vintage photo with the faded jeans distress ink.
Try combining them for a background.
They make an awesome custom (teal-ish)color!

What do you use for stems that will be free standing. I want to make a flower for my friend's vase in her VW Beetle.
Cloth covered wire is perfect. I have it in both green & brown. It's available @ JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby & Michaels
(in the floral section)...but I've only found the brown @ JoAnn's in our area.
It comes in several different gauges...large flowers need the heavier wire and mini flowers can use the lighter weight.

I always enter and make comments etc but never have I won anything except for The Timsters blog several months ago now and I was soooo excited then. ReplyDeleteI was so delighted to find my "Wendy" book in my mailbox late yesterday. Today, I finally had time to sit down and peruse the first half dozen pages and glance through the rest of the book. There are so many things to love about it: the supply lists, the hints and tips, the stamp illustrations, the stamp list where I can highlight the sets I already have, the punched holes so that it can be added to my binder...And I haven't even had time to look at all the samples and instructions. So much attention to detail. What a thoroughly spectacular job, Wendy!
