boxes, containers & a giveaway!

Mr. Fed- Ex was here twice yesterday...
once for a next day air package delivery...

then to bring 3 boxes by ground...

Later the man in the brown truck brought another dose of ART SUPPLIES...
4 more BIG boxes...

But Mario wins the box contest...

Look @ THIS...

Which could explain why Mario parks his car OUTSIDE the garage these days...

YIKES!!

That's a LOT of cruise stuff...

and there's MORE coming!

Now if you look closely @ the next photo...
you'll see my name on this pallette of GOODS...

Just a little peek for our cruisers...
Hey a peek is better than nothing...
that's the best I can do...

Lucky for us...that pallette is in Arizona...
so both vehicles are in the garage here...
for today @ least!

next...
When I LIKE something...

I REALLY like it & NEVER want to run out...

I LOVE these Maya Road trinket pins...

and I think there's enough here for a while...
since each pack contains 50!

And if you want/NEED the Maya Road leaf, vintage pearl, NEW BLACK PEARL, or NEW pink FLOWER trinket pins... I can be an enabler...

Now this is crazy...

I ordered 40 packages of tim's new film strip ribbon...

I LOVE IT!...

However...
my little mind thought there was 3 feet in each container...

BUT...
upon further inspection...

there's 108 inches...

So I'm happy to report that...
I am now the proud owner of 120 YARDS of film strip ribbon...

YIKES...
well...
that's NOT exactly what Rick said...ha!

I could wrap this whole house & make it look like a giant present.

and how sweet of tim to design the little tin to fit my stamp...
what a GUY!!!

well...maybe that wasn't actually his plan...

but that adorable tin sure is a PERFECT fit!

40 packages of film strip ribbon???

What was I thinking???

Want some? I got PLENTY to share!

That's all it takes to be entered for a chance to win some film strip ribbon...

I'll be back Monday morning @ 7am...so get your comment in before then.

If you don't win...it will be in stock here soon!

I need to cut some of that ribbon for this Saturday's workshop @ Prairie Art Stamps, in Springfield Illinois...

We gotta have it to...

make art!

  10. If you put "only" before 120 feet (I only have 120 feet of film strip) it won't sound as if you have as much!

I'm totally inspired - I want to try weaving it. I weave paper and ribbon, so why not film strip?

Of course, if it was sitting on my desk I'd totally lack inspiration!

Have a wonderful time on the cruise.

  18. What can I say? I admire enthusiasm!!! (Did you know that this word derives from the Latin and means something like "with God" or "in God"...essentially when we are in the midst of our enthusiasms...then we are truly hanging out with God!...although I'm not sure even He understands why anyone would need 120 yards of film strip!...) But hey, I'm willing to help...hope I win some of this cool stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I would be glad to take some of that ribbon off of your hands...then I wouldn't have to buy any on the cruise and would have room (and money) to buy something else!!

  63. Hiya, I could really use some of that film strip you are offering. Here in the UK it can be a struggle to get Tim's stuff. And I am a guy who is really into the ranger line and Tim's demo's are fantastic. Today, I made a couple of tags using Tim's DVD as a guide. Not quite but almost as good as attending a class. I first saw your blog via an article in craft stamper mag here in the uk. Inspiring me to do some art everyday! Have fun on the cruise, would love to be there but maybe next year, or the year after.... Perhaps some ribbon will help ease the pain of being left behind!!!!??
And then a dinky little tin just ready for my alcohol inks!

    ReplyDelete

"it's in the can" And, of course, I just so happen to have a small, film strip shaped gap in my ribbon drawer so will be more than happy to look after some for you.. then when you come to play in the UK you will have some here waiting for you ROFL!!

    Have a fabby weekend Wendy...big hugs x

But hey, if you really want to unload some, send it my way, I won't mind one little bit. My cats told me to tell you to send them some too. Yes, my friends call me... the Cat Whisperer. Not that they actually hear anything I say... Blasted, spoiled-rotten, paper-chewing varmits that they are. NOT bringing them on the cruise either. BTW, the husband loves your grunge roses. I told him to get in line behind the rest of us...

  132. I think 120 yards sounds like a lot more than it really is. Yeah, I know it's about the length of a football field but once you start using it, you'll probably go through quite a lot. ('Specially since you're such a nice girl and like to share!)

  133. Give or take a football field. Not bad! :) Love how you've stocked up.
