catching up, a cover, CHA and a CONTEST!

catching up on details...

I spoke with Ted last night...Mr Stampers Anonymous...
the new stamps are made & will start shipping January 28th.
They're sent out in the order they are received...
YIPPEE!

He's in California already...he reminded me to bring an umbrella...yuck...

He said my book will ship mid February...so not too long of a wait.
another...YIPPEE!

Did I tell you that the cover is much heavier this time??

Ted also said that the photography is REALLY good...

he saw the book for the first time last night...

I'll get a copy either tonight or possibly on Saturday.
Even though I know what's in it...
I'm dieing to see the final...

I finished the 2 new acrylic storage binders...
they're a fun project...
Here's the first...
new papers from tim's new idea-ology release...

For the second, I used some (items) that tim hasn't shown yet...

so I can't show the second one today...

But it will be up early tomorrow morning...
it's a totally different style...

Several have asked if any of the new stamps come wood mounted...

YES, some do...I think we chose about 18 or maybe 20...
I'm old & that was a while ago...so I forgot! The Stampers Anonymous web site will have them listed, but not until after CHA...

Ok contest details...

We'll keep it simple...

just choose your favorite set...or...if you already have an idea for a specific stamp, I'd LOVE to hear what you have to say...how you plan to use it...

They're all shown in the previous post.

So...just leave a comment on this post and that will be your entry ticket...
one per person...

Now here's the deal...
more comments.. equals...
more prizes...

I'll send out a prize for each 25 comments received...

so 50 comments equals 2 prizes...
100 would be 4...

2,000 would be...YIKES!! REALLY A LOT of prizes!

Want to see the whole Maya Road catalog and more eye candy?
Check here...

Gotta run...
take care...
have fun & I'll be back next Friday to announce the winners...

and HOPEFULLY...

post some photos...

I WILL try my best!

Check in on Saturday, if you want to see the (blue) binder.

remember...
Make art!

  1. There is no way I can pick one favorite - or 2 - or 5!!! I want them all and I can imagine how I am going to use all of them. You really hit a home run. As you always do. Maybe we should start calling you The Babe. Stay dry in California. And make lots of art to share with us.

  2. Wow ... I am first drawn to Word Art as these would fit into my jounal pages as well as my canvas art. But then Fashion Style draws me in as I am a textile artist, time to mix up my styles. Then I am back to the smaller set with Let Your Art Have Wings! Can see myself using bird over and over.

Don't forget your umbrella and have a great time at CHA. Looking forward to more pictures of how it all went !

  3. Rose Art Pt 2 is my favourite with Love to Make Art a close second. I love the background on Rose Art Pt 2 and the leaf is sooooo cute.

Hope you enjoy CHA. I'm going to be glued to the blogs to hear all about it.

  4. Well, of course I love them all, and have already pre-ordered SEVERAL sets, but I am especially drawn to Face Art and An Eye for Art (did I get the names right?). I think the elements in those are perfect for collage and other mixed media pieces that I love to do.
Have a blast in CA, and STAY DRY!
    Safe trip,

  9. O M Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!! I am jumping for joy! I posted yesterday after a quick look at your stamps. This morning I had more time to drool over and enlarge the pics for a better look. You can imagine my excitement over the Well Worn Art! I finally got my houndstooth and you even made it better by wearing it out a little. LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! I really really must have that stamp and then continue to HAVE all the others. I am so super excited over all your sets. Now, to decide should I cancel the cable or go without groceries?!

  10. Trust me when I say I can not pick a favorite- I love them all. But if I had to mention one- Just Sew Artsy filled my mind with so many ideas/uses my head is going to explode -

    ReplyDelete
  11. My favorite are the words, I love the fonts you used. Picture wise the sewing artsy is great.

So where can I buy these?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Its got to be An Eye for Art. With all the others a close second!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I have 4 on my list to choose from what to buy first .... Rose Art Part 2, Love to make Art (love the leaves), Well Worn Art and Be Inspired Make Art ... of course I want them all!
    Thanks for the fun!
    Enjoy.

  14. It's hard to pick just one Wendy! I know more than a few will make it to my own personal stash.

If I have to pick -- Homemade Art. I'm a house freak and I already have some plans for those stamps! Good luck everyone! Love prizes!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I want them all, of course, but I have 2 favs this morning: Homemade Art (I'm an architect in another life *lol*) & Art Inspiration. I've wanted, for quite some time, a bottle or jar stamp but hadn't been grabbed by one of the few I've seen. Then, viola! YOU make the one I fall in love with! Thank you!
I like what you did with the cover ... I still need to "do" mine I bought in the marketplace on the cruise. Yep, another on my 'to do' list.
    Sweet giveaway, Wendy! Thank you!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I am going to have to got with Homemade Art but they are all fabulous. And I will also HAVE to HAVE Fashion Style and Art - for no other reason that the sample you showed with the Mayar Road hangers - too freaking cute!!!!! Not to mention I love the dots

    ReplyDelete
  17. Your new stamps are so cool! I love the heart set - I can see that heart as useful in lots of collages, and I love the bird with that stripe background kind of evoking a ticking stripe. Truly they are all wonderful and they are sure to be a hit at CHA - have fun!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL - one - you want us to pick one - i'm laughing so hard my sides hurt....how about this.....

Let Your Art Have Wings set...the bird...cuz i'm in the mood for polka dot and houndstooth birds for just about everything....

Rose Art part 2...need the leaf now...for a canvas I'm trying to finish

Fashion Style and Art...the little shirt with a Maya hanger for bday cards for my fashionista friends

Art Inspiration...the bottle on a transparency for get well cards

Just Word Art...the believe stamp for tag art i make

Love to Make Art...the background for making "printed" grunge roses

Homemade Art...the house...the obvious is for welcome to your new home cards, but it would make a great wedding card and i know for sure i'll use it in mini books i make for lots of people

Just Sew Artsy...love the measure slip as a background for the shirt and several "dress form" stamps I have...canvas, cards, whatever

Well Worn Art...the houndstooth for flowers, backgrounds, whatever - i'm doing a lot of black and white stuff right now and it is classic for that

Be Inspired to Make Art...the plaid for backgrounds

It's Face Art...penny park tickets for collages

An Eye for Art...the art begins with a vision stamp....to make a thank you card for you...these are so fabulous...and i'm glad you have a vision!!!

ok, at first look, those are my favs...from each set...well, we all need to interpret this in our own way...my favs will change as i use them i'm sure!! have a great trip....hope the rain stops....everyone who can't go to cha make some art....keep busy while we wait for releases....thanks wendy for all the inspiration....nonnie

  19. You KNOW I've got Well Worn Art on pre-order! I've been waiting for houndstooth forever! How about a tweedy bird?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Be inspired.. make art is my favorite but I would love to have the well worn art and the an eye for art set and homemade art.... oh fudge.... I want them all.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I love all of your new (and old) stamps so choosing my favorite is really hard! But if I have to pick just one it would be the bottle and label. So many ideas of what can be stamped "into" the bottle....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh gosh, Wendy, there are lots of the sets which I HAVE to buy, so it's more a question of which I will buy FIRST!!! And, looking at it that way, there are two sets which I just have to have as fast as possible: "Its Face Art" & "An Eye for Art". There's a reason for this: I collect anything to do with Julia -- that's the name of the girl whose face is featured several times in these two sets. She has been made "famous" by Fornasetti, who has used her in everso many decorative aspects. BUT, in addition, my daughter has an obsession in life . . . which is flying on the high trapeze -- and she does it absolutely whenever possible!!!

Soooo -- taking all things into consideration, the first set I would choose is "Its Face Art", both for the two lovely stamps of Julia and for the stamp saying "She only FLEW when no one could see" . . . . . followed closely by "An Eye for Art", with most of the others rushing in just behind!!!

    They are really, truly, gorgeous!

Thanks for breaking all our banks!!! Tee hee!!!

  23. Well I could go on and on about the ideas for the stamps you released but I will leave you with two...one I told you yesterday I think using the scallop as a template is going to make some cool postage stamp type paper when cut out.
The other one that made an Idea jump right out at me is the vintage milk top being a mommy to a 15 month old I am all over this stamp being used on a scrap page and the great thing is being a stamp you can change up the colors and use it over and over if you like! I like that!! (great for the minis for the family too!and baby cards!) See don't get me started...I could go on for quite a while!

    ReplyDelete
  24. All your stamps are to die for! I think that the one I would get first would be the house set.
My hubby and I built our own house and I have pictures to prove it! I would like to scrap these and these stamps are PERFECT!
    thanks!!

  25. If I really have to pick a favourite then ... and this was tricky ... I have a mind racing with ideas ... my favourite is an eye for art and my idea ... 3d collage ville here I come ... a lovely grungy canvassy collage with eyes popping out of the most unusual places!
That binder rocks Wendy ... it is a stunner ... I can't wait to decorate another binder and fill it to the brim with Wendy rubber lovelies ... I may just sit here and wait until you come back ... or shall I go make art ... I think I know your answer to that one already :0)

  26. I love the stamps with the stitching. That will save so much time in the hand stitching. All these wonderful things are going to cause me to go broke after CHA!! How I love and hate you all. Need to come up with excuses to tell me boyfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  27. woW...It is har to pick only one favorite....I think it will be "Art Inspiration" in a tight second place "An eye for art" Both and more is a must have
    See you in Anaheim =)

  28. Art Inspiration SCS030 Choosing is a no brainer for me---I've been oohing and ahhing over this bottle stamp since you first showed it! But that's just the start of the list..... Thanks Wendy for the give-away! You only need your umbrella when you're outside--have fun at CHA! The cover is superb!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just pick one - oh my - Be Inspired, no - just word art - no wait Fashion Style - ok - I can't just pick on - I LOVE THEM ALL

    ReplyDelete
  30. " An eye for Art" is my choice for this comment, but if I had to choose again I would have to say all of the sets. They are all awesome and all have their purpose in art.
    Thanks for your generousity!!! Shirley

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's so difficult to pick a favourite as they all have at least one stamp I would use!! I think the best is the Well Worn Art as I love the flower and te mini houndstooth.
Fab binder, I need some of those new papers xx

    ReplyDelete
  32. WANT them all-of course! But for some reason the eyes, lips, etc set is just really calling to me. How perfect to use on atcs as a subtle background touch or to stamp on the back of a card with my signature...just some quick things that popped into my head.

  34. I love, love, love your Make Mine Mini Art. I do mostly mini albums and this stamp set works perfect. I love your new stamps and can't wait for my local scrapbook store to get them in. Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us. Mary

  35. Nope, can't, need them all! i love well worn art and an eye for art!! Gorgeous and I have so many things I could use them for. Thank you!! :) xx

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just love your foliage stamps; so I glad you’ve made more. I am really intrigued by the large dots in the Fashion Style and Art set. I see a lot of potential for that stamp. The flower banner is too much! Love it. It must be time to redecorate my home. Thanks for the great ideas!

    ReplyDelete
  37. First of all, safe journeys!! You'll need more than an umbrella -a rain poncho and no shorts! LOL!

Like I said previously, I'm lovin' the HOMEMADE ART (not only for the title...)! Would love to make a "HOME" mini album since I've moved 27 times in my life. I'm old - can't remember all the places so why not record it?! LOL! It's the perfect size! And then make a "HOME" banner would be cool too or a card or a wine label (house warming gift)...or...OK, I'll stop. LOL!

    LOVE your stuff :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Not any easy choice, but Homemade Art tops my wish list (and my birthday is right around the corner!) Looking forward to seeing your new book. Have fun at CHA, don't forget your rain gear, the weather has redbeen nasty here in California.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I love to make the roses...so I am sooooo excited to be able to make a larger rose! And I can't wait to use those background stamps!

Have a great time in California ... bring lots of ideas back for us ... of course I know you will!

    ReplyDelete
  40. If I can only choose one, I think it's Art Inspiration - LOVE that bottle! (An Eye for ART, Well Worn Art, and Fashion Style Art are all up there my fav list too!)

    Have safe travels and FUN!

my hand on my heart, i think i am able,
to make a choice of your bottle and label!!!!!!
    luv georginaxx

  42. I think that my favorite set is well-worn art, but close seconds are be inspired make art and let your art have wings. That's today and right now, however, and these sets are so great that it could change at any moment. Thanks for the great inspiration and the tools to make art.

    ReplyDelete
  43. There is no way to chose just one of your beautiful stamp sets! They are all so versatile! If I must, I can narrow down 2 favorites ~ the fashion and home sets. Have a safe and enjoyable journey!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love the heart and the fashion style.I could combine some from each and make ALOT of art. Thanks for your creativity!

  45. It's extremely difficult to choose just 1 but I'll go with Be Inspired. I'm seeing that this set could be a bit masculine and that's what I'm lacking in my art at the moment. DH already spilled the beans that he's giving me your entire new release for my birthday in 2.5 weeks!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love the set with the different sized flowers. I plan to make roses with them (I love making paper roses...) I also love love love the houndstooth. I want so many of the new products coming out at CHA--so many great things to choose from!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Love your new stamps. I've slowly purchased most of your older sets. Guess I'll have to keep working to pay for these new ones. If I absolutely had to pick one set to buy first, I'd pick well worn art.

    ReplyDelete
  48. oh you're such a tease..love your FIRST binder, guess tomorrows will be even better. For me it has to be..'Its face art'...very closely folllowed by 'Let your art have wings'.

  49. You would ask the impossible - "JUST ONE" she says.... well I tried my best and narrowed it down to 2: Just Sew Artsy because I want to make a wall project about my mom (Her whole life was about sewing), Next would be the Well Worn Art because the houndstooth is SO sweet and it would go with just about anything (love the weeds too)!!! I can think of uses for almost all of the others too.

I love the colors you used for your Binder and Tim's corners - thanks for showing us & thanks for a chance to win GOOD stuff - you know what we like!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ok I love them all! But first on my must have list is fashion style and art! Cant wait to pair it up with those adorable mini hangers from maya!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. There are many that I will not be able to live with out (the bottle, is it on wood?) but so far "Well Worn Art" is my first MUST HAVE!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Rose Art Part 2 has a great clock face stamp where you can use those game spinners for the hands!

    ReplyDelete
  53. OK...why does it have to be so hard? "Pick you favorite set"..is like saying "Now, don't breathe". There are 6 sets that I really, really love. But, if I am forced to the wall on it, I would have to pick: It's Face Art!!! I have an idea to alter an ugly white scrub top that I had to wear when I was in Nursing School. I want to collage images on it, and am having a vision using those stamps as well as some more of the new ones. OK...off I go to the maya road site. Have fun Wendy!! Rockin Robin Caldwell

    ReplyDelete
  54. Impossible to pick a favorite! So much inspiration! Ideas are fighting for attention, so I guess I will just need them all.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Like everyone else, I love them all, but I am drawn to the word art and the Love to make Art..... both are so very fun!

I hope you guys don't float away in California... it sounds yucky there!

    ReplyDelete
  56. My favourite is going to change every time I look at them, but right now it's an Eye for Art. I love the thought of hiding the eyes in my art so that you don't see them at first and then suddenly you see them staring at you. I have no idea how I'm going to achieve that, but it's going to be lots of fun figuring it out!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Love them all but will get Rose Art Part II first. I have this box I want to cover with Graphic 45 papers and put black roses on the top. With the three different size roses and the leaf, can make a nice full bouquet. Thanks! Have fun at CHA!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hello Wendy. It has to be the HOUSE set for me - i just LOVE the set. very versatile and a close second would be the Face.........but that house you made us!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I've been waiting and waiting for a larger rose stamp. I am so happy that you heard us! That will be the first one I buy, with the sewing theme set a close second. I have some older Graphic 45 paper that is just waiting for the fashion set!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I can't just name one favorite set, so I have to list all three of my favorites. The " Just words Art" I could use in so many ways. Create and Imagine are two of my favorites things to use on cards, altered art, Tim's patchwork pandamoniums. "Just Sew Artsy" I love the shopping saying I could see me using that when I scrapbook the shopping vacations me and my mom take 3 times a year !!
The flower in "Be inspired make art" would be used with grunge paper .. I can see grunge flowers on everything with that one !!!
Have fun and be careful ..stay dry. Can't wait to see the next posts that show us EVERYTHING else. Thanks Wendy

    ReplyDelete
  61. Love your new cover! I am loving the set Its Face Art. I love the larger stamp with the face and the words. It will be great for art journaling. I want them all though. I also love the Love to Make Art with the heart and the great quote from the Beatles "The love you take is equal to the love you make" Have a wonderful trip!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I love the It's Face Art and Be Inspired...Make Art. Both of them call to me for different reasons. and I have to admit that the ideas are just starting to fizzle around the edges of my brain--not quite there yet, but definitely on the way!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I love the new binder! Can't wait to get one--probaby need two by the time I add your new stamps to my inventory. I had been thinking of making a binder myself--glad it only got to the "thinking" stage now.

  69. I love the Let Your Art Have Wings set.....I can see the bird just about everywhere! A very close second is the Rose Art part 2! I love doing all things mini, and in particular MR house chipboard albums, townhouses, bungalows, and I use flowers and birds on just about every project!
Have fun at CHA......looking forward to seeing more pictures!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Aww Wendy, you make it so difficult, just one set? Okay, I'll narrow it down to one, Just Sew Artsy. Love the stiches and the buttonhole. Have a great time at CHA. Those of us who can't attend will anxiously be awaiting your posts about what is happening. Oh, yes, like Ted said bring an umbrella and do stay dry. Dripping on your artwork may not be the look you are going for! Lois Bell

  85. Well, it's really hard to pick a favorite set, because I like parts of different ones. But I'd go with 'let your art have wings' as my top pick. I mostly make cards, so that's how it would get used the most, but I'm thinking I'd like to make a bird mobile.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Home . where love resides . this is definitely my favorite IF I have to pick. You must be SO excited about this new set of stamps AND your new book. Congrats and embrace the excitement!

  91. You want us to pick a favorite? Are you nuts? Have you lost your mind? Bird and faces and flowers and houndstooth are my favorites. My goodness, I'd have to go with the face and the words stamped over it. Just awesome! BUT I'm really into birds so I guess that is my favorite. Love that you gave us two sizes for the roses. Have fun at CHA. We will be sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear from you.

Really, they're all great, but these are the ones I'm getting first!

    ReplyDelete
  93. How ever will I pick just one? So it will be eeney meeny minee mo:
"Just word Art", I love to use words and these are good ones, and love all of the different sizes and different fonts used in this set.
Thanks Wendy for all of the new creations and a chance to win something fun

    ReplyDelete
  94. It was too hard to choose just 1 favorite but my 1st 2 must haves are Face Art & Love to Make Art. I have 3 more close runners up too lol.
I already have a plan. I'm going to say, Honey, look what you bought me for Valentines Day. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Ohhh, I can't decide...but if my arm was up behind my back and I could only have two stamps (I know you said one but...) I would chose the shirt and the skirt..and stamp on different fabrics...and then layer them...stitching them together making some longer than others to make a really "Prom" style dress for an Art Doll...I am starting one soon...just waiting on the new stamps LOL
Have a GREAT weekend...I totally adore your binder..those papers are just divine...like Cosmo Cricket (My Faves) but with an extra zingy bit of attitude...am not making sense now so I will retire gracefully (!) to my Room of Stash and make some ART :O))

  96. Wendy -

Have fun at CHA and stay dry. Trying to choose just one set is very hard because you have outdone yourself this time around and they all ROCK! But since you asked very kindly for us to select one set, I think it would have to be It's Face Art.

HAVE FUN and I know you are going to MAKE ART!!

  97. Well, my favorite is Rose Art Part 2...besides the roses...I love the background and the watch face and the leaf...which leads me to my second favorite Let Your Art Have Wings and the matching mirror leaf and I love the bird...almost looks like faded denim and the double stitched background is great. Honorable mentions have to go to the houndstooth background and the plaid background. Those are the 4 I will probably try to get first. Well, have fun, stay dry (but isn't it great that humans are not water soluble? Otherwise we'd all melt like the wicked witch in The Wizard of Oz). Save travels.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Using the Well Worn set I would stamp using the houndstooth onto some sticky back canvas to brads for the center for some of Tim's new flowers add the Weed stamp with some shabby shutter or scattered straw distress powders. The back ground in some of the new distress inks. Some background stamping with alphabets in Sepia or coffee archival, or maybe olive. Some embellishments, I don't know which ones yet. I will have to go digging. Have a safe trip!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Love them all, but the one that really spoke to me is "Be Inspired ... Make Art". That big flower is to die for, and we could never get enough numbers--sure, I love fonts, alphabets & sayings, but I don't have many number stamps. Too cool!--Stephanie

    ReplyDelete
  100. It was hard to decide... I really love those eyes, but I also am drawn to "It's Face Art". Love the sayings on this and the images and... Lots of nifty things to be created with your new stamps!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Love To Make Art is my fave new set. I think I would get a ton of use out of this one. My 1st project would probably be a Valentine's themes wall hanging. The Register background stamp can be used for so many things! Have a great time at CHA & thanks for the chance to win. :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. Congrats on the new stamps! Very nice. While each is unique, and I seem to be drawn to the Dressmaker set. Don't know why, I don't sew!
But I see many fun possibilities with it. Love the punchinella like stamp, and that skirt!
    Enjoy ChA!

  103. wow...i'm in love with all of your new sets already...the first one that jumped out and smacked me with the "you gotta have me" vibe was well worn art...just love it! but i'm thinking that with this realease i'm going to have to have ALL of them! and your new book! can't wait for that! ackkkkk! january 28th can't come fast enough...hope my local store has their order in! have fun in CA! stay dry! and hurry back and show us some more ART!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Sew -hah- many choices! And I love them all. My first purchase will be Just Sew Artsy. Thanks so much for the inspiration you share with all of us!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Tough choice, but I'll go with Well Worn Art.

    Thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Wendy, homemade art looks good...no. no, love to make art...no, no be inspired...I guess they"re like lays chips, you can't have just one...:) Enjoy CHA!!

  108. I will have to make a valentine for my hubby using the heart in the Love to Make Art set--he knows you have new stamps coming, he's just not aware of how many new sets! I love all of the new stamps and can see making a collage using a bit of each one, the bird, the clock, the eyes, flower, ticket, lips, etc., etc.
Have a great time at CHA!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Love to make art has to be my favourite as I love hearts !
    Have fun at CHA !

  110. love the fashion art set. i can see this in a frame hanging in my sewing room. thanks for all your great new stamp sets

    ReplyDelete
  111. OMG, pick just ONe? Impossible, but maybe the bird set. I love birds, and that background looks very versatile too. Can't wait to get my hands on some of these sets! Love your storage binder cover too. Have fun at CHA!

  112. I love them all but I guess my favorite stamp set is the Fashion Style Art. It's just really cute I would use it for alot of things but mostly on scrapbook pages for my niece's. Hope you have a safe trip, don't get to wet!

    ReplyDelete
  113. How about my favorite - ALL of them? I do really love the weed in Well Worn Art. There's something wistful about it. And then the background. Gotta have it.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Wendy, it's just too much to have to choose a set, I will have to have the small set with the dress form first, followed by the large set with the plaid. Followed even closer by all of them!

    ReplyDelete
  115. my fav is 'an eye for art'. this is really different for you. more body parts!

  116. Well Worn Art #LCS024 is calling my name and is telling me to stamp the houndstooth with tumbled glass and then overstamp the Queen Ann's Lace (weed) and Guard Your Heart sentiment over the top with bundled sage. This could be done on a small canvas and would be hung where I could see it every day, which means in the kitchen by the coffee pot.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Plaid,Plaid,Plaid...how I am mad for plaid. But I love the bottle too....just thinking about that I can put inside that so dad gum cute bottle!

    ReplyDelete
  118. I'm having a hard time deciding between Face Art and Love To Make Art. I love the country-style heart that is perfect for paper-piecing! Oh, and I love that old-fashioned medicine bottle too. You know what it reminds me of? Those little bottles of fake/funny pills they used to sell at Spencer Gifts. You know--the "Over the Hill" pills, the "Old Fart" pills. I could make some really funny birthday cards with that bottle and my own labels. LOL! (OK--now that I've written a book...)

    ReplyDelete
  119. I will be getting all but my first will be love to make art!

    ReplyDelete
  120. ALL of them. Why not buy ALL of them. Can't you see... I'm no good without them. So, Wendy, why not, why not buy ALL, ALL, ALL of them.

    Have fun!

  126. I can't wait to get my hands on the bigger rose stamp!!! Well, I can't wait to get my hands on all of them! I am counting up my pennies to see just how many I will get + the new book of course!! So exciting!

    ReplyDelete
  127. love 'em all! but i have to get my hands on Homemade Art first. my dh and i have been married 15 years and have lived in 5 different homes, and i don't have any "home" pictures of any of them. i've been playing with the idea of creating an album about the house we're living in now: our favorite spots, where we live, eat, sleep. homemade art would be perfect for an album cover as well as page embellishments!

keep making that art wendy, because it"s certainly an inspiration!

    ReplyDelete
  137. This is really tough. How can I possibly choose one favorite when I love them all? Guess I'll just tell you the first 4 I'm going to order: Love to Make Art, Just Sew Artsy, Well Worn Art, and Let Your Art Have Wings. I love hearts (have an antique cookie cutter collection), do some stitching and quilting, been wishing for houndstooth and can't resist the birdie. Looks like our weather has cleared up in time for CHA weekend. Hope you'll be able to get out and catch a few rays of sunshine!

  149. Hi Wendy!! I love the Homeade Art! LOVE it! I'm a REALTOR and I'm always on the hunt for "house" stuff I can use for thank you cards or projects, this would be perfect for a house I have under construction, I've taken pictures every day of the construction process and I'm making the buyer a mini album, it's their first home and they are beyond excited so I thought it would be perfect for them. THANKS for the chance to win!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  156. Hope your CHA experience is all you hope for.
I like the just word art the best. I can see using it in my visual journal or on inspirational cards.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I love, love, love both of those books! I also love Tim's new papers. I am a paper-holic so I think I need to take a deep breath and back away from the computer!
I saw in the previous comment they hoped you came to Scrapbook Friend'z. If that's in Bloomington,IL I second the motion. I would be there in a heartbeat!I put this on Sat post 1st by mistake. Sorry!

  158. It's an impossile task to pick just one favorite. I can narrow it down to a few...Rose art 2, be inspired, and the fashion & style stamps. Oh...and the book! Really looking forward to all the new stamps and new book. Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  163. My favorite set is the one with the heart. I love it. My parents are going away for three months and I want to make a mini-album with pictures from the kids, this heart would be perfect for the cover!

    ReplyDelete
  164. I think I'll have to go with Just Sew Artsy. I have a love affair with all things sewing related and those stitches are so realistic and beautiful. I rarely pull out the sewing machine these days, but with this set I can get the look without thread. Love it. I imagine using those stitches on collage work to seam together the layers and images. Beautiful work, Wendy. I'm so happy to hear some will be wood mounted, too. Can't wait for Carson to buy some :)

    ReplyDelete
  165. WOW that is tough to pick just one!! I would have to say the Rose Art Part 2, since I took your class and showed us how to make the roses, I have been hooked since! A larger one is perfect for bigger displays and to use with the smaller rose! I have a window that I painted and I think using the small and large roses on it would be perfect to hang on the patio!

    ReplyDelete
  166. I really couldn't pick a favorite but I always find it difficult to journal when working on my layouts so I would be able to use the word art stamps to help boost my confidence and improve my journaling. Be safe in California and thanks for the inspiration

    ReplyDelete
  167. Wendy, I love all your designs but my fav would have to be ther Homemade Art stamp!!!! I, personally, would have to describe you as a female version of Tim Holtz!!! Great work!!!

    ReplyDelete
  168. I've just recently discovered your blog-appreciate the "earthy" style. I've been a frequent visitor, you can be sure! All of the sets are unique. I'm drawn to the home-themed set. There's no place like "home".

Best wishes for a successful show.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I like all the sets, so it hard to choose.
As a set in totally, the "be inspired, make art", because it's so complete, I love the flower, leave and background. But I'm totally in love with the little bottle art inspiration.
Thank you for sharing your art on your blog, it's a great inspiration for me.

    Hugs, Maria

  170. I love all these stamps but if I have to choose one favourite set I will say Be Inspired as the plaid background is very different and the flower is great. I have recently purchased your book and love your style so I guess being inspired is how I am feeling with your stamps. So thanks for that!

    ReplyDelete
  171. I think I have to have the new rose stamp since I can't find the first one anywhere around here.

  183. Wendy, you are killing me!! your new stamps are gorgeous and i can't wait to get your new book!! i love that you used the beatles' "and in the end, the love you ..." lyrics. Love that!! and that heart is fabulous!! my husband is a remodeling contractor, so the first small set would be fun with some of his work. and i can't get enough of any of your backgrounds. houndstooth? yeah. need that one.

  192. I have to have the house one! It is so cool. We are getting ready to move and it would be perfect. Thanks for sharing and have a safe trip!

    ReplyDelete
  193. I think my favourite might be Rose Art part 2, I can't wait to make the bigger roses with a new leaf too I also love the clock face & foliage background, but I also love the bird in Let your Art have Wings I see the leaves are opposites on this compared with the one from the rose set and thought lovely wings as soon as I saw them will be great on a 3D bird too. Be Inspired Make Art is lovely, I love tartan being a Scot and the leaves & daisy are so pretty. I also want It's face Art, and Well worn Art love the wild flower and what can I say... houndstooth too! YEAH!
I've pre-ordered these already so I guess they must be my fav's. Wow, they're all lovely. I hope you enjoy CHA, and weather behaves itself.

  194. Choose just ONE fave Wendy? That's a tough assignment! I like them all, but if I have to choose a fave I'd say the sewing themed sets, wait, that's still more than one :) I like 'Fashion Style and Art' because it looks SO versatile, I can see the labels and the sequin waste on journal pages, cards, scrapbook pages - no end to what you can do with those!! I like the garments-in-progress, they'll be so fun to play with. Have fun at CHA!

    ReplyDelete
  195. Love the acrylic binder! Pick just one fav that's very difficult. I think it's - face art no maybe well worn art. Told you it was hard to pick just one.

    ReplyDelete
  196. Yay! I should win cause I'm the 200th comment! JK! I LOVE the Well Worn Art Set because of the background stamp in it!!!! It could be used for everything and I love that look!

    ReplyDelete
  197. Wow Wendy wonderfully wonderous stamps! I would pick from the "smalls" Homemade (there really is no place like home!) and Fashion Style. From the "bigs" I would choose Just Sew and Well Worn (houndstooth-what can I say just the name of it cool). But they are ALL FAB!
