I was invited to be a guest artist over @ the
2 peas...
30 days of stamping & cardmaking event...
my original date was scheduled for April 19th...
BUT...
Jamie emailed yesterday to say that my project would be posted today...
YIPPEE...now I'm day #12...
I had fun...
I got to "make art" and here's the result...
so, if you pop over to 2peas, you'll find the complete supply list & step by step instructions, so that you can recreate this...
I included LOTS of step-out photos too,
to help along the way...
plus...I did a little interview for the post...
if you choose to play along,
you'll be using grungeboard & LOTS of tim/Ranger inky products...
remember last week when I said you might want to have the art parts large creative covers on hand???
and tim's new ring binder too?
this project would be why...
I wanted you to be prepared...
the creative covers make a great solid base for projects...
they don't always have to be a book...
the smaller size covers are so cute/fun too...
and...to celebrate...
I think I'll have a little giveaway...
NO WAIT...
since it's 2 peas...
I think I'll do 2!
to enter...
leave a comment here and also on the 2 peas posting...
I'll draw a winner from the comments here...
AND...
I'll choose a second winner from the 2 peas comments...
2 comments = 2 chances to win...
the drawing will be @ 7am on THURSDAY morning...
that's April 14th...
I hope you will be inspired to...
make art!
wendy

before i even could get my hands on AP i knew i'd love them. Now that i got some pocket watches AP i know i don't love them, i adore them! Hard to find here in Belgium, so i planned some retail therapy during our USA trip in may. than i'll finally be able to follow your great tutorial and make... some art ;)
ReplyDeleteI think that everything you touch with ink turns into art! I just love it and you've inspired me to use some of those art parts I've been hoarding!

ReplyDeleteOwwwwww, Ahhhhhhh...beautiful and versatile. I can see lots of interchangeable possibilities! Thanks for sharing. Now I'm off to 2 Peas!
ReplyDeleteVery very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the project, Wendy!!! I have been digging through drawers this morning looking for some old pen nibs that I know I have!!! And they seem to be hiding from me!!! Nasty little nibs :-))
ReplyDeleteIt's fascinating how you use art parts. I love this project.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the art parts. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to start playing with some of the newer art parts.
that is one nice piece of art i must say! i can't wait to play as soon as i finish my work day!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of using the notebook rings to hang a sign...which means you could make one with several "signs" and change them out depending on your mood. And several different bases...mix and match. See if people are really paying attention(do they notice something has changed?) Ok, I have a peculiar sense of humor...like when I put a sign on the front of my dorm room that said, "Please use rear entry" and on the back of the door(seen when trying to exit the room) "please use other door." I got my father on that one...he stared at the sliding closet doors next to the real door for 5 full seconds before he realized that he had been had. So, now to check out the instructions!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful creation
ReplyDeleteGorgeous piece of ART!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's beautiful! I'm heading over to check out the deets!
