here's a better look @ some of the art parts you may have missed yesterday...
PLUS...new studio 490 stamps too...
yippee...
*WARNING*...
you will be seeing lots of my newest "go to color combo"...
(aka addiction...)
tim's wild honey distress stain, stamped with Ranger's vermillion archival...
seriously...I LOVE it...
I had to HIDE the stain & the ink from me...
so that I wouldn't use it on every single project...
if you think I'm kidding...
I AM NOT!
gotta take care of our guy needs...
distress stains over kraft resist...
LOVE IT!
when the pieces in the next photo arrived...
I about fainted...
I expected cute...
but these exceeded my expectations...
the ruler is a BIG HINT...
just sayin...
which reminded me that I used tim's design ruler the other day...
I just pierced holes using the guide holes on the ruler & did a quickie hand stitched edge...
the ruler makes it so quick & simple...
ok...it's your turn...
talk to me on Thursday...
what are you thinking?
you talk...
while I...
make art!
wendy

I'm so excited to see/buy it all! Your peeks are making my credit card scream! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am thinking I already need all of these - without even seeing the full caboodle! Vermillion red & wild honey eh, who'd a thunk! I already LOVE wild honey... goin' shoppin'!!
ReplyDeleteWell, good thing I listened to you and scarfed up almost all the new archival colors. Vermillion? Got it! Yea!
ReplyDeleteI'll just wait for you to announce each cool color combo. Why re-invent the wheel when I have you? LOL!
Gee Wendi...and here I thought I had all of the stamps I could possibly want....being trained as a chemist and a writer how could I possibly not want "tincture of creativity" and "elixir of muse"??? Sent me down memory lane with all of the old chemistry jokes...ferrous wheel, meta4, and of course, purple ether bunny(requires a purple pen). It occurred to me that the last one could be modified to purple people ether...for those of us who remember the song. Which makes me think...that one of these days you need to have stamps/Art Parts for old-time LP's...someday those in our generation are going to be "nostalgic" might as well start early! Why should others have all of the fun! Love what's coming...any of it going to be at Carson before CHA...or do we have to wait until November?
ReplyDeleteThink I need more archival colours and I am loving the look of the new art parts. Love how you have decorated those bottles with those stamps, love them. Looks like another exciting 6 months ahead making art . Tracy x
