WELCOME to day 2,
when I can finally share more new rubber,
some new Blossom Bucket, new art parts...
and since it's a holiday...
even a little art...
before we jump in,
I have to say
THANKS SO MUCH
for your sweet comments & emails...
I sincerely appreciate the time you take to talk to me...
I got several emails about THE PLACE SETTING
and me NOT cooking...
they made me laugh!
THANKS!
HEY...let's see some new rubber...
this set is titled...
3 CHEERS FOR ART...
click the photo to see it better...
LOVE the LG PINE TREE...
good to use with the art parts residences, outdoor scenes &
I think I'll use it for the holidays too...
a bit of picket fence distress crackle paint will transform it...
BECOME
TRUST
CRAZY IN LOVE
these are awesome when heat embossed and it's simple to use tim's distress markers to fill in the letters with color...
you'll see lots more of this style of words...
I have wanted them for a very long time, but couldn't figure out how we could ink the individual letters...
I designed them for art journals too...
stay tuned...
THE TRUE WORTH OF A MAN saying
is a fun one...
and good for guy projects...
I LOVE that we can use the individual words
MAN & ALIVE...
for some humorous art...
CHEERS!
I'll show you this stamped @ the end of the post & you'll see why this stamp makes me happy...
especially when paired with_____...
the other saying on this set...
bottom left says...
CHARACTER IS DEFINED AS
DOING THE RIGHT THING...
EVEN IF NO ONE IS LOOKING...
so true...
and in the bottom right we have...
MR HIGGINS...
he's a handsome dude...
he has a 2 piece coordinating art part...
the bottom art part is the full stamp image
& the second top piece is just his hat...
in the peek below, you'll see that I stamped the band from his hat onto grungeboard, to add another layer to the hat...
I used the markers to color his shirt & tie...
and see CRAZY IN LOVE?
it's clear heat embossed & inked with the markers...
color me...
CRAZY IN LOVE!
now we need some flippin fun Blossom Bucket
to fit right in with this stamp set &
THE BELMONT RESTAURANT background
I showed yesterday...
when these arrived...
I about fainted...
I couldn't believe how cute they turned out...
first Blossom Bucket for today is the
CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE with 2 CLEAR GLASSES...
PERFECT for cards, ATC's, scrapbooks & collages too...
can't you imagine a configurations box celebrating a special person on a special occasion?
the bottle is 2 1/2 inches tall & the glasses 1 1/2...
I have wanted a MARTINI GLASS for a long time...
now we have one...
this is so adorable!
it's 1 1/2 inches tall...
normally I don't show completed art before CHA,
but since it's a holiday tomorrow,
this tag seemed appropriate...
the bottle & glasses are exactly what I wanted for the
it's currently available in this art parts set...
it makes a great card too...
did you notice
the art part @
the top of the tag?
these are new art parts & they are called
TAG TOPPERS...
DUH...what took me so long to think of this?
everyone likes tags & these are designed for the #8 tags...
one day I was wishing I had something to jazz up the top of the tag...
my little brain turned on & tag toppers were born!
these also give us a way to make a cool tag book...
there are 6 in the package...
3 scalloped tag toppers & the other 3 have a pointy zig zag edge...
like pinking shears...
my original idea was for tags, but I have used these tag toppers combined with *other* art parts in lots of fun combos...
you'll see soon...
the yummy colors on the tag are the
I totally LOVE them...
can we ever have enough blues & greens in the distress?
I *think* not!
CHEERS for a wonderful holiday tomorrow, my US friends...
and CHEERS too, to all my blog friends...
I'll see you on Thursday with day 3...
hmmm...what will we see then?
that wraps up day #2...
talk to me while I...
make art!
