I can hardly wait to show you todays all new stamp sets,
art parts & Blossom Bucket embellies......
this first stamp set was inspired by memories of my pillowcases when I was a little girl...
check out the background stamp & you'll see...
my mom had embroidered pillowcases &
I thought they were so pretty...
for that reason, this set is called...
HEIRLOOM ART...
LOVE the sayings ...
TOTALLY ADDICTED to the background &
I have had so much fun with the flower/leaves,
using them on art journal pages...
today is back to basics & what I TRULY LOVE...
FLOWERS!
this set is all flowers with a sweet sentiment...
and...
mini flourishes...
the minute I got the large flourishes in my hands...
I REALLY wanted them
HAD TO HAVE THEM
sized smaller...
I am in LOVE with these mini's...
and they work well paired with the larger size!
meet another new stamp set...
DAISY ART...
the fringe flowers are AMAZING
when stamped on CFA & cut out...
they look fragile...
but they are very strong because of the CFA...
I'll show you soon...
DAISY ART has a coordinating art parts set...
it's...
DAISIES DO TELL
the leaves & flower are a 2 piece set...
WITH A TWIST...
it went like this...
I had an idea & asked the guys at the factory if it was possible to "partially" cut thru the art parts material with the laser...
(art parts can only be laser cut...)
look closely at the package & you'll see that the veins in the leaves are already magically there!
they are etched into the art part...
exactly what I had in mind...
just ink right over the leaves...
you don't even need to line them up with the stamp
then stamp over them with any background stamp...
and you can accent the veins further
with a waterproof pen, if you'd like...
this shows you what the etched leaves look like...
next up...
MORE FLOWERS!
this time from Blossom Bucket...
look at all the detail in this flower...
I used one on a project & misted it heavily with Perfect Pearls mist & let it pool in the grooves...
REALLY vintage pretty!
it's the
LARGE ANTIQUED CREAM FLOWER...
SWEET SUNFLOWERS
are next...
draw a simple stem...
or use a portion of a stamp..
and use them alone on a card or art journal page...
you can also use them as a flower center for a larger flower...
this next
PLAID POSTMARK POSEY
is special too...
the postmark is from an envelope we found at my parents home...
love the colors...
simply...
love it...
this flower & the next 2 pieces were originally released
as magnets for the gift market...
I liked them so much that we made them without the magnet...
it's available as a magnet here...
and in February as a glue on embellishment...
LOVE this sweet
BUTTERFLY...
it too is available now as a magnet...
and another magnet...
turned into an embellishment...
this is really awesome...
it's the
BLACK & GOLD 5 PETAL POSEY...
LOVE LOVE LOVE this one too!
the magnet version is here...
it's fun to use the magnet on a card & the recipient also gets a little gift...
here's a peek at an art journal page using the daisy stamp...
so easy & perfect with tim's distress markers...
and another peek...
it's loaded with embossing paste texture...
I used the white paste...
with the brick stamp & brick stencil...
it's inked with the distress stains & misted with
even the new daisy art part has texture,
because I applied a thin layer of embossing paste
to the art part
BEFORE I stamped it...
I have lots of fun posts planned for after CHA...
with lots of ways to use/color the embossing pastes...
they are so much fun...
THANKS to everyone for the comments & emails...
I'm REALLY HAPPY
that you are
as excited as I am about this release...
I can not wait to show you some finished samples...
Rick chose a random comment...
CONGRATS!
the winner is...
Love, love, love...goodness overload!!
Julie...
please email me with your shipping info & we will get a little something off to you...
you just never know
when another random prize winner
will pop up...
just sayin...

ReplyDeleteWow, I missed a few days of your sneek peeks and my gosh I am overwhelmed. Your stamps, stencils, art parts, embellishments, etc.....just everything, your whole product line has taken on a whole new spin in my opinion and I'm not quite sure how you did it....but you have out-done yourself once again. Your products are so amazing how they all work together so well and they still have that wonderful homespun Wendy V. feel to them. They don't have the mass produced feeling you get from some other products. I'm so impressed with where your headed with all of these wonderful products. You certainly deserve all your success, congrats.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I was so excited looking at all your fantastic goodies and then I saw that I won and my heart went into double-time! Thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the new flowers! And, the etching in the art parts leaves ... I foresee lots of etching in future art parts! I love the colors on the brick sample ... please do a tutorial when you get a chance! Love it all!
ReplyDeleteFlowers always capture my heart. Oh the possibilities.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting better and better. I so love your new products - they have a romantic tint but they are vintage 100%. I wish I could be at the show, to play and see you demo.
ReplyDeleteHugs
