just a quick hello...
I'm off on a road trip with my favorite sweetheart to celebrate Valentine's Day...
but I wanted to show you a fun product...
it's not new...
I've had it a long time, but just recently started playing with it again...
look how fabulous it is for art journal pages...
it's matte, but very rough & textured...but still flat & PERFECT...
I test drove it over a specialty stamping paper art journal page...
the background is the archival reinker background technique...
here's a link to a video showing the technique...
I'm discovering that older products work well with art journals...
& I find myself using lots of older stamps too...
it's been fun...
this art journal page seemed appropriate for today...
NEW ARCHIVAL colors, combined with the first 6...
I'd rather have this...
loads of no cal treats!
CHEERS!
have a great day...
I hope it's full of LOVE and INK...
so you can...
make art!
wendy

ReplyDeleteYou can make such great backgrounds with stencils, pastes and embossing powders. I have some ideas now on using some of these things that have been sitting for awhile.

ReplyDeleteWho needs candy when we've got that gorgeousness to drool over?? Such beautiful projects, I'm fascinated by how dimensional they look & yet they're flat - wonderful.
