Envelope art...
Here's an example of another addiction...altering envelopes. It's fun & simple & gives the folks @ the PO something different to look at. This started out as a generic cream color.
I used my favorite combo of distress inks...vintage photo & faded jeans. The corner stamps are by Maya Road and the coffee cup stain stamp is by Stampers Anonymous. A quick squirt with the mini mister (by Ranger)...done in less than 3 minutes! I'm off to add the address & it will be dropped in the mail tomorrow morning.
One final thought for today...
GO BEARS!!! I hope.......... edited...so much for that thought. Reality is...THE BEARS SUCK!
Happy Sunday!!

October Carry Out Kit...
This is the kit I designed for the LSS for October. My photography skills are that of a 3 year old, and in my opinion...this looks much better in person! I'm certainly no Rachel Greig! I guess that's pretty obvious! The calendar stamp is from Stamper's Anonymous, as is the herringbone stamp which I used on the tree trunks and the border on the 3rd section. It's a great stamp that finds it's way into many of my projects.
Rick is gone this weekend to a horse show..so I'm home alone spending every minute in the studio. I thought about dusting, but arting is more fun!
Back to the studio.
Have a GREAT artful weekend.

Lets see how this photo thing works...
Hmmm...this looks good...some of my favorite flowers, made with Maya Road cool chipboard and colored with Ranger's Distress inks. Warning...if you start making these...these guys are addicting!

Now...why would I NEED a blog??
I couldn't think of anything until the last few weeks, when interesting & very exciting things started to happen.
First thing...Got accepted to Ranger U. 3 days of classes with Tim & Robin. PURE HEAVEN!! Hmmm...someone might be interested to hear those juicy details.
Next...I am now on the Maya Road Design team. WOW!!! I am totally excited & now (maybe) I'll have some interesting things to say...and some cool art to share.
So...we'll get started...............once I figure this beast out...
