this one is called "notes & quotes".
The base is their new classic scroll frame coaster.
Notice how "notes & quotes" is a perfect fit for the Maya Road scroll frame...
that's the advantage of designing stamps...
I get to size them to fit!
So, those large studio 490 background stamps that completely cover the Maya Road mini album pages...fate??
I think not...
PLANNED!
Back to the art...
inside...
*
If you think it's EASY being on a design team...
think about this...
you'll see why I needed that mojito!
*
Maya Road sent me this AWESOME CANVAS POCKET BINDER album...
*
HOWEVER...since it's a brand new product...
you only get one...
ONE!!
*
If you mess it up, there's no running out to your LSS to get another...no one has them!
YIKES!!
SCARRY!
Here's the back cover...
*
tim's mask stuck to the canvas perfectly, which allowed me to apply plenty of distress inks...
*
The flowers are colored with turquoise metallic Maya Mist...
then stamped.
Working with the canvas is MUCH easier than you think...
just dive in!!
It was REALLY FUN!!
*
One more thing...
I used Ranger's jet black archival for stamping on the canvas...
***
and speaking of RANGER...
***
the grand prize contest starts...
tomorrow!
A BIG BOX of Ranger goodies for some lucky someone!
***
until then...
make art!

Wendy, you clever girl you! I love that you were smart to size it with MR products! I LOVE BOTH!! LOL! Thanks for the eye candy this AM!
These are awesomely fabulous!!! Your creativity just blows me away!
Everything turned out beautiful. I am glad you got over your fear of working on the canvas. I did not realize you could use distress inks on canvas. I may see how they work on little mini canvases that I have. Loved what you created!
These look like really good cruise projects!!!
I have been enjoying these Maya Road projects - your stamps seem to fit in so well with them - what a great team!
Thanks for all the inspiration!
Sandra
You must be stamping 20 hours a day! Not only are you the Queen of Grunge but also the queen of chipboard! Love your designs!
Saw a sneak peek of the album over on the MR blog. I knew it was yours but couldn't figure out what type of material you used! Thanks for showing the full covers! Love the look of the distress inks on the fabric!
The "Notes & Quotes" project, as well as the canvas cover is AWESOME. But what would one expect...Studio 490 stamps and the designer is awesome!
OMG Wendy... I love your stuff! I was determined not to start stamping or scrapbooking and have finally succumbed. LOL

Love your projects. The coaster album is just amazing!
I am going to have to stop looking at your blog while I am at work. For some reason after seeing your projects, I don't want to work, I want to PLAY and MAKE ART!

Wendy,
A few weeks ago at the stamp show in Orlando, my friend Barbara told you how much I loved your stamps. While she was shopping in your booth, you very nicely made a tag for me. We were both impressed at how nice a person you are. Thanks so much for the tag!!!

OMG - awesome, amazing and soooo cool! I love that the stamp fits perfectly!! I cannot wait to see the fun on Friday! :) Also, I am always afraid I'll mess up and not be able to get a replacement, so I hoard things....am trying hard to get over it though! LOL Maybe if I win that big box of Ranger goodness! lol
p.s. the teeny little butterfly on the edge of the frame is precious!
