the dog ate my blog posts...

oh wait...

we don't have a dog anymore...

yikes...

so sorry to be AWOL...
I've got a million excuses...

my new stamps for CHA in January are designed...
and checked off the TO*DO list...
yippee! now they just need tweaking...

new Blossom Bucket trinkets for January
are designed...

new art parts are coming along nicely...
50% done...

new stencils too...
50% done...

working on class kits...

I squeezed in an extra
 ART JOURNAL class for
Saturday November 3
@ The Scrapbooking Studio in Bloomington, Illinois...
I'll be there THIS Saturday too ...
YIPPEE!

I've been working with
another company...
that too is moving along & I'm very excited...
not sure how soon I'll tell you about that...
but I think in the next month or so...
designing the label is next...

I spoke with THE QUEEN &
we added a second Ranger technique class for
The Queen's Ink in Savage, Md...
the first class sold out & the waiting list was long...
so we added another all day Ranger class on
Thursday October 11th...
that weekend will be 4 FULL days of classes...
LOVE IT!

that's the good stuff...

then there's THE ANNOYING stuff...

I'm participating in STAMPtember with my friends @
Simon Says Stamp,
because I ADORE them all...

they asked for a video...
you know what a tech genius I am...

NOT...
so...

after 8 re-do...s...
the phone rang once...
I sneezed 3 times in a row...
Ranger the cat wanted me to hold him...
when I didn't he jumped right up on the craft sheet...

I thought he got the HINT when I put him down...
NOT SO...
his next attempt was trying to crawl up my legs...

the doorbell rang & friends walked in...

so that explains 8 takes...
and an all day video adventure...
but amazingly I got it done...
and it's not TOO terribly bad...
NOT perfect...
but not bad...

here comes the annoying part...

an hour with the geniuses @ APPLE...
that went very well...
APPLE CARE is AWESOME!

then for a solid day I tried multiple times
to upload it to You-Tube...

I thought it was me...
and my lack of tech skills...

talked to the tech geniuses @ Simon Says...
several times...
thought it was figured out...

NOT SO...

then I got sent to the BIG  guns
the "IT GUY" Al...

after another 90 minutes,
he determined that the problem is our internet...

once again HUGHESNET SUCKS...
DO NOT GET HUGHESNET...
TRUST ME...
anyway...

after multiple attempts,
we're on to another IT conference with Al today &
HOPEFULLY plan D will work...

so you can see why I NEEDED this,
for medicinal purposes...
and believe me...
there wasn't a drop left!

PLEASE...
cross your fingers that plan D works...

if it does, I'll be back on Saturday to celebrate

with a video...
and a NEW technique...
in the meantime...

I hope YOU can...

make art!
wendy
