make that PASTE...S!
with an S...
YES...2!
introducing MATTE WHITE and ...
MATTE BLACK...
the pastes come in 4 ounce jars and
here's what the white label looks like...
(the black actually says black on the label)
I am over the moon,
CAN NOT SLEEP...
jumping out of my skin
excited...
the 2 main reasons are...
#1...
it's ready NOW!
no dread waiting...
that's why I waited to tell you my secret...
it's labeled & ready to ship...
stores can order it directly from
STAMPERS ANONYMOUS...
for one stop shopping!
Amy, Sue & Margaret know the scoop...
Ted, Mr Stampers Anonymous

***********
I chose to be associated with Dreamweaver
for several reasons...
they have been in business for 12 years,
their reputation is excellent
and the quality of the product
exceeds my expectations...
yes...
EXCEEDS!
and as I have heard a time or 42...
I AM quite picky...
yes, I know that!
the jars have a shelf life of at least 5 years...
the jar I found in my stash is approximately 10 years old...
I opened it....
it was fresh as a daisy...
it was still very soft & it worked perfectly...
so there's no waste,
if you don't use the whole jar immediately...
I like that!
main reason
#2 ...
for my happiness...
is that my embossing pastes will work with
the products we already have & LOVE...
YOU BET!
a major key to my decision...
it HAD to work with distress too...
and it does...
stains, markers & pads...
play well with the pastes...
in the photo below,
the paste is colored with tim's distress ink
and distress ink on a blending tool
added the stenciled words over the paste...
this is an art journal page...
the cool flower center is
my new Blossom Bucket cutie...
they work perfectly with Ranger's archival inks too...
and you know I do LOVE the archivals...
it's simple to stamp ON the dried pastes
with your choice of archival colors...
same brick stencil as above...
but
change the ink to barn door distress stain
and you get this...
do the pastes work on art parts??
YOU BET!
the brick wall above is an art parts small creative cover...
they make great solid bases for art...
here's an art parts flower very closeup...
using white paste, perfect pearls mists
and some stamping...
magic & a simple transformation!
the embossing pastes fits any style &
they are very versatile...
they can be used for clean and simple...
like this...
or really...
really grungy!
this looks like leather in person...
the paste has been applied to
the large art parts heart...
the yellow flower center is
the pastes make awesome backgrounds...
and get this...
they both work on ...
this was an added bonus...
I did not expect it to work...
be still my heart!
now for sure, I AM in LOVE!
this next little art is again on
LOVE my Blossom Bucket bee...
he's brand new...
here's the Clearly for Art flower closeup...
it's tim's tattered florals die...
the embossing paste
totally changes the CFA!
it's very textured...
with a great matte finish...
and the flower still has all the CFA qualities...
flexible...
moldable...
fun...
you can use the paste as a simple accent...
like this dimensional border on my art journal page...
it's light weight & DURABLE!
it does not flake off...
making it perfect for art journals...
and here's the start of another art journal backgound...
on specialty stamping paper...
look closely & you'll see that it's been
stamped with my honeycomb background...
the ink colors?
several distress of course!
yes...stamps work really well with the paste...
think of the possibilities...
can you see this is serious...
fun?
now about the black paste...
it's totally cool on
and great for words and borders and...
a whole lot more...
just you wait & see...
I have a whole lot more to share...
a TON of techniques...
I have been having so much fun,
I keep thinking this can't be legal...
seriously...
FUN...
I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg yet...
telling you about these discoveries...
there are so many different effects
that are so easy to achieve...
and here's a bonus I hadn't planned...
ever have an oops & think your piece
is ruined beyond repair?
I did...
then I got out my paste &
covered the whole thing & started over...
it actually turned out to be a favorite piece...
it's for CHA, so no photo...
so trust me on this one...
it saves ruined art...
and this is why I wanted to bring out the pastes before CHA...
the white makes
AWESOME SNOW!
use it alone or sprinkle it with tim's new rock candy glitter...
while the white paste is wet...
and you can still make snow with dry paste too...
just lightly brush it with Glue N Seal...
then sprinkle the rock candy glitter over the Glue N Seal...
this is great for holiday cards &
mixed media art too...
I'm excited to see what fun techniques you find...
I'll start sharing more info next week,
when I know you have the pastes in your little hands...
the only tool I suggest is a palette knife...
plastic or metal is fine...
they are very reasonably priced...
no other tools or products needed,...
use what you already have...
and the only thing you need to remember
is to clean off the palette knife & stencil
with water immediately after use,
so it doesn't dry on your tools...
**************
and without further ado...
these AWESOME stains are going to...
Love STAINS!!! They work so perfectly on your Parts...lol! They are a match made in creative heaven! Whoever receives these, will be getting the gift of the year!!! You are so generous!!! WOW!!! Good luck everyone!

any ideas brewing?
I'm anxious to hear your thoughts...

make art!

Congrats to Anita! This new product shall be lots of fun. I am glad you suggested to use it for snow. Sounds like fun and congratulations Wendy on the new product!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can use the paste to create any type of textured backgrounds or surfaces. On a collograph plate that I created, I used gesso modeling paste in the foreground to simulate a grassy looking field in a landscape using a toothpick to apply skinny swipes of modeling paste. The effect was successful in that when I printed the plate you got the feel that the foreground of the landscape was organic and grassy looking. Paste has so many endless possibilities!!
ReplyDeleteOmgosh!!! I can not wait to get my hands on this paste. You have made my day :)
