great gifts & a GIGANTIC SALE!

just in time for Mother's Day,
graduations or any gift giving occasion...

kits for art are back in stock &
ON SALE...
with the discount code
each kit is less than $6.00...

we've had lots of requests for kits...
so we introduced 2 new "kits for art" at CHA in January...

kits include complete instructions, step out photos, and the art parts & Blossom Bucket metal corners needed to complete the container...

this little cutie is called "create a container"...

the only thing you'll need to add is a flower center...

I like this kit because you can customize it to fit in with any decor...

choose any colors & any background stamps & it will be perfect!

the container can hang via the hole in the base, or it will sit on a shelf...

art parts work well with distress inks, distress stains, distress paints or you can cover the pieces with patterned paper...

for this sample I used distress stains...
jet black archival for my stamping...
and added an extra clearly for art flower...

I added the flower/leaves at the top, so this will sit on a shelf...

this next sample was done with the new distress paints...

I wanted this one to hang,
so this time the flower/leaves are at the bottom
& they can hang off the edge of the container...

the lines are this background stamp...
I just turned it 90 degrees to make the lines vertical...

here's another sample done with distress stains,
the lines again...

if mom loves to quilt or sew...
here's another variation...

I saved the flower/leaves for another project & instead, I added the  Blossom Bucket sewing machine, spool, scissors & ruler...
this container will hold a small pair of scissors...

art parts are also awesome when embossed...

this time I stamped the stripes and
the houndstooth with jet black archival,
then clear embossed...

LOVE the bee...

the container was designed to hold a gift card or an assemblage...

you can see the opening below...

the opening is easily created by glueing
the 3 art parts U shaped pieces together...
(they're in the kit...)

use any paper adhesive...
I like multi medium or glossy accents...

the second new kit is

this too contains instructions, step out photos, tim's mirrored material, that we die cut to make the perfect mirror...

you just need to add the flower center of your choice...

the instructions include how to use my black embossing paste to age the mirror & create a cool texture...

you'll also learn how to use alcohol ink to make an authentic looking old mirror...

this looks cute sitting on a dresser or vanity...
or you can also hang it...

don't forget to stamp the back too...

the embossing pastes are ON SALE TOO...

both kits work well with the daisy art  stamps...

the container uses the flower/leaves at the bottom & the mirror uses the daisy at the top left...

YES!
it's ON SALE TOO!

if you've been thinking of starting an art journal...

this art parts kit  is ON SALE too...

I used it to make this journal...

these art parts words are on the cover &
they are great for cards too...

so here's the SALE scoop...

new studio 490...the finale!

hello my friends!
it's the finale for new products...

here's the first of 2 stamp sets for today...

this is...
SUNSHINE & ART...

with all the flowers, leaves & birds we use...
I wanted a fun sun...
this set has more sayings & a very vintage
worn looking plaid background...
and...
2 stars...
now we have 2 sizes...
yippee!

here's a new art parts package called...

FROM NATURE...

you'll see it has a 2 piece art parts sun,
a medium sized bird...
yes...ask & you shall receive...
sometimes...

I do love birds too...

and a fun branch for the bird...
or you can hang things...
like the Blossom Bucket birdhouse
you see in the photo...

the final stamp set is *maybe*? my most favorite?

it's titled...
SHOPPING IS AN ART...
true huh??

LOVE the chandelier a million...

LOVE the sassy sayings...

the tied bow is a wonderful border used horizontally or vertically...
I have used it LOTS...

another new BFF is a sassy chick...
her name is Ruth...
she's named after another of our friends...

here's the coordinating art part set...

there are 3 bows & 3 of Ruth in this set...
totally...
in love!

next...
the finale for my new Blossom Bucket pieces...

more fun flower centers, that I like to use with the sewing machines...
again...
amazing tiny details...

remember the saying from yesterday...?
you are just my type...

it's a perfect fit with this adorable vintage typewriter...

I added
"FOR THE RECORD"
because it fits with any card sentiment...

FOR THE RECORD...
I love you...
or...
I wish you success...
or...
 I think you rock...
or...
 I've been thinking of you...
or...
I hope you're feeling better...
or...
it's the perfect addition to a birthday,
anniversary or guy card...
it's adorable...

I about fainted when I saw this vintage fan...
AMAZING detail on this guy too...
look...

speaking of detail...

look at this vintage camera...
SWEET!

here's a close up of the cute details...
you can accent the lens areas with Glossy Accents...
or use it as it is...
it is...
PERFECT for ATC's, cards, heritage layouts...
mixed media...
and so much more...

and I ADORE this
Primitive house...
got 8 samples & used every single one...
so FUN...

and we conclude with 2 brand spankin new...

KITS FOR ART...
we've heard loud & clear that you like kits...

first up...

the vintage hand mirror kit...

I have had this designed for quite some time...
but I never found the right product for the mirror...

metallic & mirrored cardstock looked cheesy UGLY...
so I held back, while I waited to find the
 PERFECT MIRROR...

TADA...
last CHA tim introduced his
MIRROR material...
it's EXACTLY what this mirror needed!

this kit has the instructions, step out photos,
 the art parts &
tim's circle mirror included in the
KIT FOR ART...

you just add the flower center of your choice...

I think you'll have some
fun Blossom Bucket flower centers to choose from...

I always want people to LEARN something from my classes & kits...
I don't like a "glue these together" type project...

you'll learn how to use my black embossing paste with distress inks to create subtle vintage texture & how to age the mirror material with alcohol & archival inks...

the mirror can hang by the hole in the handle or
sit sweetly in a vignette...
make sure to adorn the back too with stamps, art parts, or Blossom Bucket goodies...

it's a whopping 10 inches tall...
and...

I'm happy to say that the kit price is $9.95...
so these will make GREAT gifts,
because you can customize them for any decor...

and I saved this
art parts KIT FOR ART cutie for last...

this is called...

CREATE A CONTAINER...

be still my heart...

it's a really cool decor kit...

again...
it's customizable with ANY background stamps &
any colors of inks/stains
or...
cover the art parts with patterned paper or paint...
there are plenty of options...

the center is actually open & will hold a gift card...
the opening is 3 layers of art parts deep...
so it's a great space for
a little flower arrangement...
a mixed media art parts assemblage...
a little gift...
there are LOTS of possibilities...

again, this kit includes the instructions, step out photos, art parts for the container,
plus the art parts leaves & flower...

three of my Blossom Bucket black metal corners are the key to holding it together,
to create a finished professional result...
 they also make it sturdy...
the 3 corners are included in the kit!

you finish it off by adding the flower center of your choice...

it can hang via the hole in the top,
or the Blossom Bucket metal corners
create a solid base
to make it a stand alone container...

it's a substantial 5 layers of art parts thick...
so it's very strong...

it's 6 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide and...

the kit price is also $9.95...

this will be my new go to gift giving container...
for sure!

this is another of those "double dippers"...
YOU have fun creating &
someone gets a great handmade gift...

here's my new baby...

CREATE A CONTAINER!

the photo below shows another version
of the create a container...

instead of the flower/leaves that are included in the kit...
I used some cool new Blossom Bucket pieces...

here's a tiny peek at the new primitive house...
and the plaid postmark posey...

STOP THE PRESS!!...
what is this?

it's my last Blossom Bucket

SHOPPING BAG...
as you can see in the photo above, you can load it up & stamp on it too!

I can't wait for you to see how cute it is in person...

Ok...now that you have seen everything...

here's the SCOOP...

ALL the Blossom Bucket pieces
WILL SHIP to stores
before
 THE END OF FEBRUARY!...

AWESOME...
no long wait...

and they have been making stamps,
art parts, kits for art, stencils for months in Cleveland..

so those are ready too...
as are my new metallic embossing pastes...

keep in mind that orders ship
according to the date the orders are placed...

so those ordering on the first day of CHA

you can email or call your fav store & let them know what you you'd like them to stock...

again...

Tuesday...
phew...
HOME TO MY SWEETHEART!

now it's back to NEW PRODUCTS!

I spent the weekend making more samples...
I had a BLAST...

this release has been so much fun to work play with...

let's start today with another stamp set...

this is...
MANLY ART...

Rick named the guy Clark...
not sure why, but he insisted that he looked like a Clark...
must be the striped shirt...

OK...
Clark it is...

the camera is so stinkin cute...
you'll see it toward the bottom of the post...

the giant background is a herringbone pattern...
reminds me of some old wool pants my grandfather wore...

LOVE the 3 sentiments...

"you are just my type"...
I *think* there will be a little Blossom Bucket piece made just for this saying...

you'll see it tomorrow...

I've been waiting so long to show you the next one...

I have tons of British friends & was thrilled when I found this vintage ad in a falling apart 1910 magazine...

this stamp set is...

BRITISH ART...

the pen is about 5 1/2 inches long...
it makes a great border...

LOVE the FORD'S Pen ad...
it's a great background...

love both creative sayings...

the pinching fingers...

and I'm lovin' the giant houndstooth background...

next is the
art parts package
that
coordinates with both stamp sets shown above...
this is...

GENTLEMAN'S ART...

the camera is a 2 piece layered cutie...

here's what's in the package...

I have one more new art part set for today...

since the idea for "etching" art parts was successful...

we now have an...

ART JOURNAL
with an ETCHED frame...

the frame can be used on either cover...
on a page...
or...
use it for something else...

it spices up some art parts we already have...

the 3 1/2 inch art parts frame
from my very first art parts release...
fits inside this etched frame &
together they fit over the insert
from the original large square frame...

this journal is square & I've used it with the holes at the top
& I also made a side opening journal...
square is FUN...

no art is complete
until you add special embellishments...

today's new Blossom Bucket pieces are perfect flower centers...

love the swirl on these guys &
they're...
BLACK!

use them right from the package or  mist them with Perfect Pearls to add a bit of bling...

the tiny detail on these is amazing...
use them as is...

or accent the centers with a gem...

they are a cool "wild honey" color...
use them alone with a hand drawn stem/leaves...
perfect forATC's...

more flower centers...
LOVE the color...

you can also age them with archival ink...
 mist them with bling...
add inks to the raised areas...
or draw a simple stem & use them alone as a flower...

next up...
4 brown basic buttons...

they fit anywhere you need an accent...
and as a flower center too...
and coordinate with just about any art...

and these guys are
at the very top of my list...

they look like berries & are THE PERFECT flower center...

I wanted vintage GOLD...

BASIC BLACK...

and for sure
 a nice
vintage SILVER/PEWTER...

with 3 berry color choices...
there's one for any project...

besides flower centers,
I've use them as border accents...
coming soon to a blog near you...

now about that 2 piece camera...

look how cute!

you can accent the lens with some Glossy Accents or
the small epoxy dot from Tim's custom fasteners...
they just happen to be a perfect fit...

the photo also shows a peek at the etched frame...

ahhh...
that was fun!

please know that
I appreciate your comments & excitement
 so very much...

art friends are THE BEST!

I've been posting some photos on
you can pop over there to see some fun stuff...

I'd be honored if you'd LIKE my page too...

2 art parts and

Blossom Bucket
embellishments...
