here's a peek...

to start the week!

this is one of the projects featured in book #5...

there is LOTS of stuff here if you look closely...
let me know what it is YOU see...

I've had quite a few questions about Clearly For Art the last few days...

so...

I hunted down this video that was filmed by the Simon Says gals @ CHA & I think it pretty much tells the whole CFA story...
and should answer any questions you have about the products that can be used on Clearly For Art...
like...

Ranger's snow cap white pigment ink...
Tim's alcohol ink...

ok...
talk to me while I...

make art!

  21. Wow!!! that new stamp looks like antique damask or something!!! Can't wait - funny story - my sister was in town to make art with me and we got water in our basement - first thing she grabbed were the Wendy Vecchi Make Art books,(that you signed for me) which were on the floor. They dried out fine and are now no longer stored on the floor!!

I spy . . a flower pot, flower, scalloped border, vase, key, and unique texture on flower pot. I like the checkerboard pattern on the vase and the pretty background on the piece. Cannot tell what is at the top ???? It is so cute! Cannot wait to see more.

  26. I am drooling over the checkerboard (small) stamp and the stamp you used on your flowerpot... I can't wait to see the entire piece.

  27. What do I see... a new flower but it seems to have a white covering on each side... the middle looks like art part... a flower pot... a circle... new background stamps... it looks like the checkers are a border but maybe not since it kind of fades by the stripes - maybe just not fully inked, the background to the right of the checkers (the same one you shared Friday?), the stamp on the flower pot, Oh, the border looks like it's got a white covering... it looks too white to be snow cap??? This could be very exciting!!!!

  28. PS.... I just read the other comments.... I didn't even notice that the "circle" had a section going up from it so it could be a key... way cool!!! I guess I was too focued on the the word on it - probably warning?? and I wondered if it was new.

  29. Wendy you are so amazing. I know what that is beside the new flower pot and flower...it is a lamp. You have used Tim's chain for a switch and lace for the bottom of the shade...it is so beautiful!!! I also love all of the background stamps, they really make the scene. I am also thinking maybe just maybe it could be a magnifying glass or mirror on the other side. Love the "she" stamp inside it. Does that say warning on the handle? Thank you so much for the sneak peek, that was fun guessing and I love your art! Kept the peeks coming.
