HUGE...Blossom Bucket peek...and THANKS...

it wasn't an earthquake yesterday...
it was Cindy & I jumping for joy & so flipping EXCITED......

Blossom Bucket & I made the
for new products...

I *think* you'll like Cindy, (who owns Blossom Bucket)...
there are NO tiny peeks from her...

she lets you see 2 full brand new gift items that I designed for them...

and...if you get your magnifying glass out...

you just *might* spot a few others in the background...

these resin items & LOTS more,
debut in just 2 short months @ the Atlanta Gift mart...

here's the write up from the newsletter...

School House

The houses shown here are designed by Wendy Vecchi, a

premier designer in the scrapbooking industry who has

 recently partnered with Blossom Bucket.

The one on the
left is $12.99 and the one on the right is $8.99.

Lawrence, OH. 330.834.2551.

here they are...

believe me...
just as soon as soon as I can...
I'll be happy to show you the others...

much of the success I've had in this art adventure is due to the support of this guy...

the seriously funny, very hard working, lovable...
Mr. Stampers Anonymous...
aka...TED CUTTS!

it is because of Ted & his wife Michelle, that I get to design stamps, art parts & more...
that I met TIM, who has also been a true friend, teacher & mentor...

Tim lead me to Ranger & the senior educator position...

which then lead to Cindy at Blossom Bucket
which resulted with the new
and now the items for the gift industry...

and I have to add that Mario has been a great "advisor" many times...

a BILLION THANKS to...
Ted, Michelle, Tim, Mario, Alain, Justin and Cindy...

you all have made it so much fun to...

make (studio 490) art!

a little more about CHA ...

so you would think that after CHA I'd be sitting on the couch eating bonbons...
NOT SO!

Now there are flights to schedule, class instructions to write, class supplies to order & organize when they arrive, kits to make & then ship...

nope...no bon-bon time here!!

HEY...
Did I tell you that I ADORE art parts?
I think I may have mentioned it???

One of my most favorite of the art parts is the spool...

I like that it's 3 pieces...
that makes it very easy to paper, paint, ink or stamp the individual pieces...

it would be way too hard if it came assembled...
and hard to ship too...

Here's more spool fun...
this one was in tim's ideology booth...

the curio knob makes a great flower center...
you KNOW I see flowers everywhere...

I can't help it...

so I told you that @ CHA, we work hard...
but we eat hard too...

here's the world famous Ms Keychain...
aka Karen Morikawa...

this was SERIOUSLY the largest serving of dessert I have ever seen.
EVER!

This is the carrot cake from Gibson's, where we had an AWESOME dinner with the Stampers Anonymous family...

even though we were stuffed...
we decided we NEEDED dessert...

Ted told the waiter to bring 2 servings for us to share...
plus apple pie for Michelle & ice cream for Ted...

the waiter said...
are you sure?
how about just one piece?

we had NO CLUE & about fainted when this was served...

take a look...

5 pounds (or close to it) of yummy goodness...

all 6 of us had plenty to eat...
Keychain took the rest home & her family was still eating on it 2 days later...

if you go to Gibson's...
my suggestion...

get ONE...
it's wonderful & HUGE!

Here's my portion of the Stampers Anonymous booth...

I took a photo that actually turned out...
shocking!

Hmmm...what else?

Oh...

the book #3 giveaway...

THANK YOU ALL for the comments!
I appreciate the time you take to send them...

the book goes to...

Dale has left a new comment on your post "CHA was ...":

YIKES...

today will be another shorty post since I only have 3 working days 'til I leave for CHA...

YIKES!!!

First is a Maya Road CHA project...
which turned out to be another FAT book...

the more stuff...the better I like it!

Probably my MOST FAVORITE new embellishment from Maya Road is the resin flower that I used for the center of the large flower...

(which if you look @ the flower...
it's made from Maya Road snowflakes!)

ANYTHING can be a flower!

I'm IN LOVE with that resin flower...

and remember the new stamp set I designed with no background & NO flowers?

Here's what I had in mind for those mini words...

and the final photo for today introduces...

make art, studio 490 style...

BOOK #3!

It's 56 pages chocked full of ideas for...
making art!

I will have the books available after CHA...
but I don't want to take orders until I actually have them here...

it may be a few weeks...

payments are thru PayPal...

but like I said...
let's wait until they are printed & HERE & ready to ship.

I'll let you know when they arrive.
THANKS so much for your support!!!
I sincerely appreciate it!

ok...coffee break is over...

time to
make art...

art parts...

episode #2...

One thing I was always on the hunt for was a round frame...
I thought round would be out of the ordinary & fun...

now we have one to use!

It's 5 1/2 inches...a nice size
...not too big...not too small...

I have plans for these frames...
they will be perfect for home decor/holiday gift items...

So here's the naked frame...
( if someone searches Google for NAKED & ends up here...
they'll be mighty surprised!-) That makes me laugh...

anyway...
introducing...the art parts round frame...

and here's my first round art parts project...

I laugh every time I see it...

this guy looks like TED (Mr Stampers Anonymous!)
AGREE?

The chipboard buttons are from Maya Road...
I embossed them with tim's embossing folder, then inked them.

Complete instructions are in book #3!

Now...I'm off to the studio to ...

make (round) art!
wendy
ps...chemo was a bit better today than yesterday...PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
