studio 490 art parts...

to the MAX...
and more...

it's July 1st, so how about a full reveal of 1 NEW art part set & 1 NEW stamp set?

if you're a blog friend, then you know that I love mini...

but I'm totally LOVIN'...

art parts to the max...

with this release we will now have some LARGE art parts to use as the base for our projects...

my thought is that these will be great for home decor & I wanted larger art parts to use as the starting point for gift items...
and classes too...

TADA... presenting...

the art parts "large flourish frames"...

the solid base piece is 10 inches x 5 inches & the frame is 4 x 6 inches...

in the package there are 2 of the solid base pieces, 2 frames and you'll also get the 2 cutouts from the frame...
for a total of 6 pieces...
and...
LOTS of possibilities...
it can be used as shown, or turned on it's side...

WOW...it sounds like you guys really liked the new art arts scissors, (me too)...
so today I'll show you the set with the coordinating stamp...

this is titled "art by hand"...

"the scissors" are 3 1/2 inches tall...
(ATC sized)...
if you scroll down to the previous peeks, I painted them with Ranger's metallic paint dabbers...
I've used both the silver & gold on them...
dry...
then stamp with jet black archival ink, using the perfectly sized stamp...
I poked a tiny hole in the screw area &
add tim's mini fastener, for a realistic effect...

the next stamp is the "spool label"...
and there is a mini art parts spool that is sized perfectly for the spool on that stamp...
it's tiny...and so CUTE!

"shown by appointment only"... is fun...
like for the cover of a book...
or...?

I drove past a house one day & saw that sign in the front yard...
that's how this stamp came to be...
(inspiration is everywhere!)...

I've already used it several times...
you'll see that soon...

"warranty not included" makes me laugh...
it's very fun for altered items...

the "thimble" stamp also has a perfectly sized coordinating art part...
this guy is about 1 1/4 inches tall...
(ATC sized again...)

"always. play. hard.", pretty much says it all...
use the stamp as is, or use just one word...

and I ADORE this "background stamp"...
it's loaded with words that can be used alone...
or...
mask off the middle & use just the borders...
or...
punch out that circle in the center, to use alone...

it's big...5 1/2 inches tall & 3 1/2 inches wide...
it looks GREAT stamped in any color...

so there you have my first babies...

I'm very excited to hear your thoughts...

OK...
time for me to...

make art!
wendy

Love these. The frame is awesome as are the sewing stamps. Reminds me of watching my mom sew by hand when I was a kid. They used to mend clothes all of the time!

Now that I've seen the WHOLE frame I'm really in love with it and the size will be perfect for home deco! The scissors and thimble that will fit on an ATC or small card are just darling, but my very favorite peek today revealed my new favorite background stamp! As I looked at it I could see so many ways to use it in parts as well as the whole. You really came through this time (again)! Thanks from your loyal followers.
