birds & books...

This email made me laugh out loud yesterday...

Joyce sent me a photo of her bird...
she just made this sweet thing this past Saturday @ Prairie Art Stamps in Springfield, Illinois...

She sent a little warning for those of you who have done the Build a Better Bird workshop with me...
and already have your birds...

KEEP your GIRL birds segregated from the BOY birds...
If you don't...look what could happen!

Funny huh?

I forgot (hey...I'm OLD!) to tell you yesterday that my book FINALLY arrived @ eclecticPaperie...

I'm not sure who the culprit was...UPS, USPS or Fed-Ex...but it's been tracked and is finally there.

Rick & I thought we were catching up here...
but we have 2 HUGE shipments scheduled to arrive today...
so...we'll be kitting...kitting and kitting cruise stuff!

I'd LOVE to show you what arrived yesterday...
OMG! I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited.
I said YIPPEE about 12 times!
It's even cooler than I expected...
But that's a story for AC...

I haven't forgotten about the blog giveaway...
so................stay tuned!

Time to...
make art (kits).

Wendy, thanks for posting this! I went to Kimberly Smoot's website/blog, and saw not only some of her amazing photography, but followed a link about two young girls that she photographed. Everyone should go to it and see what these little girls have done! It''s at http://www.nationalguard.com/priceofpeace. These kids are talented! It's a beautiful song that they wrote for their Dad. If you can't get to it with that link, try http://www.kimberlysmootphotography.com/blog/2009/06/ and scroll down to June 25th, the Gaddis sisters! It's moving. I hope you don't mind that I posted this, Wendy! You'll love it too!

Well, I have kept my birds in seperate rooms....but I might let them "be together", so I can have a few eggs! lol I could come and help you make kits on sunday if you would like me to! I think it would be lots of fun. I wish I could go on the cruise with you, too! How big is your suitcase?

I love the bird and the little eggs. Now when they hatch, who will they look like, the mommy or the daddy?

It was fun watching this bird throughout it's transition from naked to fully dressed. Now to see the final (?) creation brings an even bigger smile to my face. Kudos for your vision of loveliness!
