all NEW stampers anonymous!

there's nothing as exciting as the day that fresh rubber arrives here......

hot off the press rubber thrills me!

finally I can show you what I've been working on and PLAYING with for these last few months...

grab a seat...
I've been busy!

I have had a blast and I can't wait to share all the samples that I've done...

you'll find lots of sentiments/quotes
that work well for cards...
art journal pages etc...

this time I'm not going to tell you about each individual stamp...
but there are some favs
and I might sneak in a few words about them...

ok...there are 6 new stamp sets...
the first is

SCS137 BLOOMING ART...
since I have a beautiful Violet archival ink,
I really wanted a violet bouquet...
I've had fun with it!

the plants at the bottom can be used as shown  in the planter or hanging upside down...

how about that snazzy planter?

next is SCS138 UNLIMITED ART...
EASY to cut out &
make dimensional flowers...
very fun...
I have a fun technique using the top left flower/leaves  & the bottom guy on
Clearly for Art BLACKOUT......

the third is
SCS 139 Simply... ART...
there is a SUPER fun twist
to the bird & branch...
I flipping LOVE the mini birdhouses...
they are about the size of a dime...

there's more that coordinates with this whole set!

I really like these sentiments for cards...

and here is
 SCS140 BIRDS FOR ART...

the envelope is easy to cut out and use many ways...
I use my magic mat board scraps!

it's tiny ( about the size of a nickel) & I love it!
LOVE the sweet little birds too...

SCS 141 THE GIFT OF ART...
I have a fun technique using the retro looking flowers /stem...
the "flowers" can be used as shown or
they can be used upside down...
the stem and flowers are separate so different colors of inks or embossing powders
can be easily used...

the "square flower" is another fav...

and the last of 6 new sets is
SCS142 EXCEPTIONAL ART...
my very first release had a tulip and here's quite possibly the cutest little tulip ever...
when cut from Clearly for Art,
it's really adorable!

LOVE the mini bow for bouquets...

next we have
4 NEW individual BACKGROUND stamps...

these first 2 are from previous sets...
we've had requests to make them available individually...
you asked...
we did it!

I like these 2 backgrounds because they both work really well with the DIY Archival custom pads...
the pad makes it super simple to get multiple colors with one stamping...

the first is...
SIMPLY STRIPES...
nice worn...
perfectly not perfect stripes...
stamp it once and it looks like this...

ink the stamp again with the same or a different color...
turn the stamp 90 degrees and stamp it again to create a PLAID background!
double your options!

the next popular request was the

TICKING BACKGROUND...
a nice subtle background...
this too can be a plaid,
if you stamp it once, turn it 90 degrees and stamp it again...
double your fun...

ok...
here are the 2 new backgrounds...

the first is BOTANICAL REGISTER...

quite possibly THE PERFECT background if you like flowers/gardening...
and it's just a great background text stamp...

I absolutely LOVE this stamp...
it's from a really old book...
I've used it lots...

I think I better send one to Ali Edwards!

and this is the bargain of the century!

JUST SAY IT!

my idea for this one was to cut it apart and have 21 individual sentiments!

plus there are the mini hearts...
and the dotted lines...

AND...
you can combine the words in other ways...

trying to include 21 sentiments on a set
would really jack up the price...
but by keeping it as a single background
(that YOU can cut), makes it a steal!

it you are afraid to chop it up, you can stamp it as a background & then cut out the individual sentiments...
super simple and 21 sentiments for $10.95!
thank you TED!

now we move on to quite possibly my favorite product...
(except for stamps & stencils and inks)

STAMP-IT STENCIL-ITs...

there are 6 new ones...
each includes the stamp & the coordinating stencil...
they all retail for $10.95...

the first is
PUT A BIRD ON IT...
you'll see that there is just one stamp...
go ahead & chop it apart...

by including one stamp,
it makes the packing job easier &
I could actually include 5 stamps in the set!

later you'll see that
there is a mat mini set
 that coordinates with this one...
OMG...super cute!
you can see the detail on the birdhouses above on SCS139...

#1 on my list!
until we get to the others...

next up is...

MIRROR IMAGE FLOWERS #1...

since stencils can be used both ways...

(think mirror images)...
I thought it would be cool to have the stamp facing both ways...
the multi 6 part stencil makes it super simple to add multiple colors/shading...
it's kind of hard to see so there's a sample below...

and here's MIRROR IMAGE FLOWERS #2...
both flowers are fun to stamp, cut out  & layer...
there's a sample earlier in the post...

now we have
CORNER COLLAGE...
this makes a fast card...
stamp...stencil...add a sentiment...
5 minutes...
done!

the 4 layering stencil sections make it easy
to shade your flower...

ok...here come 2 more FAVORITES...

this is SPRING BOUQUET...
oops...it's on it's side in the package...

I have used this one at least 5 different ways...

it's large enough to fill a card front...
I've used just portions of it for smaller cards and I've cut out the individual flowers & used them with other stems...

the stencil makes it super quick to finish this card & make it look like you took hours to color it...
it's really pretty with amazing detail...

it looks great completely flat or with additional layers stamped and added...

I used just a small part of it for this piece...

and the last SiSi is...

BIRD ON A BRANCH...
this is the outline image of the bird on a branch from  SCS139 SIMPLY...ART shown above...

combine the 2 for some really unexpected fun...

you can use embossing powder on  just one portion of it...
or emboss with 2 different colors...
or add translucent embossing paste to accent just the bird...
you can
use the bird alone...
or
use portions of the leaves...

this is a fun multiple use one!

there is a sample below, under the HAVE A HEART mat minis...

next up I have 4 new MAT MINIs...

mat minis are laser cut,
super light, but very strong embellishments...
they are perfect for mailable cards &
 for mixed media projects...

the first MAT MINI set coordinates with the
PUT A BIRD ON IT
Stamp-It Stencil-It set...

just ink the stamp & press the coordinating MAT MINI right onto the inked stamp to add perfect detail...

there are 36 white laser cut pieces in the set and all the mat minis retail for the same $4.95...
thank you TED!

here they are!
MAT MINI BIRDS & THEIR HOUSES...
if you have the "layered tree stencil"...
these birdhouses fit perfectly...

the next new mat mini is

the FAT LITTLE BOOK...
this cutie comes with 4 laser cut white mat board pages to create the perfect FAT LITTLE BOOK...
the 2 binding rings are included too...

the pages are 4 ½ inches square & the material is great to use with archival & distress inks...
embossing pastes & embossing powders work well too...
we can also use paints and the pages can be covered with patterned paper too...
nice to cover up an oops...

you can also use just 2 pages for covers and add cardstock pages or use just 2 pages to create a special keepsake card...

I have 2 FAT LITTLE BOOKS
completed & I must say that I had a blast!

next is HAVE A HEART...

this MAT MINI package has
21 white hearts and 21 black hearts...
so a whopping 42 hearts in total...

there are multiple shapes & sizes that will fit any project...
you'll see them on LOTS of my samples...

use them right from the package...
or
ink them...
stamp them...
stencil them...
run them thru an embossing folder...
cover them with embossing powder or embossing paste...
lots of options...

and the 4th MAT MINI set is...
CUSTOM BUTTONS...

this set has 18 black & 18 white buttons in several sizes for a grand total of 36 buttons...
these are fun to customize with inks, stamping, stenciling, embossing powders & embossing pastes to coordinate with your art...
the holes are laser cut & perfect for adding string, threads or twine to finish them off...

I used one below for a flower center...

read the sentiment...
it's TRUE!

so that's the 4 mat mini sets...

I saved stencils for last...
I love their great price ($4.95)
and the many ways they can be used...

ok...
I love all 4 equally...
I have 4 NEW favorites for sure!

first up is...
LOTS OF DOTS...

sweet tiny mini polka dots...
finally!

I have used this one on 75% of my samples...
it's a great background filler...
sometimes I use just little bits...
I've used a few rows for a border &
I used it with my gold embossing paste as a background...
fabulous...

the next stencil is

PICKET FENCE...
it's 4 inches tall &
this covers the front of a card...
it fits  the pages from
the FAT LITTLE BOOK...
I LOVE IT...

use it with ink...
use it with embossing powder
(weathered white is FABULOUS) and
it's awesome with embossing paste for a dimensional effect...
this is a good one!

after I used the
 PICKET FENCE for a sample,
I LOVED it so much
that I nixed another design
to have a smaller size...

meet FENCE AND FOLIAGE...

this guy is much shorter, with smaller pickets & it fits both tags & cards...

since there was extra space, I included some fun leaves that will work on the fence...
and they work well with many of our flowers...
I MUST SAY...
it's adorable...

and the finale is...

the
REPEATING QUILT STENCIL...

this took some "figuring"
to make it just right & it is!

I seriously have had a blast with this stencil...
there are many ways to use it...

you may have seen peeks...

here's REPEATING QUILT...

stencil it once...
turn it 90 degrees & line it up...
stencil it again with a second color...
for a multi colored quilt...
there are at least 3 ways to line it up to create the quilt......
I'll be doing a tutorial on that soon...
or maybe a video at CHA...

and there are 2 more fun ideas...
use it
as a border and as a banner...

I had to hide this one so I wouldn't keep using it...
those mini plaid "quilt blocks" are really cool...

so...
I know...a really long post...
thanks for sticking with me...

that's my scoop for CHA...

I hope you're as excited about these new products as I am...

you'll see in my samples that I've used them with stamps & stencils that we already have to freshen them up...

let me know what you think...
and...

let your store owners know what interests you...
make their CHA shopping job easier!

A MILLION THANKS
for your support...

I MUST SAY...

I LOVE to...
make art!
wendy

I love your new repeating quilt stencil and the mirror SISIs. Great idea! I love the look of the rereleased stripes background stamp!

I generally like the 6x6 background stamp size, depending on the design, because it gives you more options horizontal and vertical plus some diagonal for standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and square 5 1/2 cards. Plus, depending on the design, you can get variation.

Are your background stamps going to be 6x6?

jan metcalf said...

Oh my gosh! Love the 141 retro flowers! They are so different! Great background stamps, my heart flutters with ticking! And I like the sentiments too! So much to love here Wendy!!!
