with LOVE from me to you...

Happy Valentine's DAY to you!!!

I have a little video to show you...
but first some thoughts...

or disclaimers!

it's NOT perfect...

it's not edited...
I'm lucky I figured out this much...

so DON'T LAUGH...
I tried!

I had a big DUH...
the tripod was in my way so I moved it,
which changed the orientation of the screen...
so that explains the skinny size...

DUH...
lesson learned...

here's the completed project...
it features my new art parts heart, hand & mini scallop...

the background is tim's new kraft resist paper...

the letters are his new alpha parts...

forgot to show that in the video...
another duh...

the film strip ribbon was added to the art parts base with the tiny attacher...

and the video...

I HOPE it works...
otherwise there will be a quick "DELETE POST"...

I hope that you can see how beautiful the weathered wood distress stain looks on art parts...

and how cute the little trimmings flower looks...

Have a GREAT DAY my friends!

CHEERS!
Here's to LOVE...
and

mak(ing) art!
wendy

***EDITED AFTER VIEWING***
YIKES......it's kind of small...
I can make it full screen...
I hope you can too...
if not...I hope you have a magnifying glass!
next time will be better...
I HOPE!

Well yes, the screen was small, but the video was great! I LOVE how easy those stains go on and give awesome coverage - just ordered mine from Simon Says last week I (don't tell the Queen - couldn't wait!)... hope I get them before my trip so I can take them with me. Great to see you doing videos! They're awesome!

Wendy the video is awesome! love the finished product! Can you compare Matte Multi Medium with the Glue and Seal (is that the name???). I've been using MMM since Tim has us use it.

Loved the video, it's so nice to hear your lovely voice. The only thing I would suggest is maybe doing a larger screened area, but other than that it was wonderful. One quick question about the Distress Stains, how do they differ from the Adirondack Color Sprays (aside from the Distress signature colors)or the liquid Distress Ink refillers?? I love your Art Parts, I can't wait until I can afford to get them. Take care and have a great week.

Penci said...

Wow, I love the idea that you can now demonstrate some of your techniques via video! Please keep it up. I was able to enlarge the video by clicking on it. T'was nice to hear your "angelic" voice again, since I haven't been able to attend any of your recent classes.

Great job on the video! I love love watching craft videos, it is so much easier to learn and understand what people did by watching a video than reading instructions. You did such a good job on your first one, I really hope you will post many more.

Hey Wendy, you did it. You are way ahead of me in the video/transfer to screen game....I got a flip camera for Christmas and while I did transfer the video to my desktop, I still can't get it to burn to a DVD....WAH! So, pat yourself on the back...
I did love the project. Thanks.
