Ranger's pigment ink that is...
Here's a fun tip...
tim showed us how to color his trim with distress re-inkers...
I changed it up & used my fav
butterscotch re-inker.
It's simple...
moisten the trim with water...
drop it in a sandwich bag...
and add 3 or 4 drops of the re-inker...
seal the bag...and squish it around...
pull it out & let it dry...
now you have a perfectly coordinated trim that is a perfect match for any of Ranger's pigment inks...
just what I like...
good looking & simple...
if you don't have the re-inker yet, just tap the pad on the trim & follow the instructions...
and speaking of ink...
YIPPEE!
the magic bars have arrived...
you will be totally amazed @ how effective they are...
after a 7 hour demo day @ CHA, my fingers were really saturated with ink & I thought that was the real test for the scrubbie...
I LOVE it...
it also makes a great guy gift...
think stocking stuffer...(get it ??red & green?)
it takes off grease too...
Rick now has his own magic bar...
just add some soap & water to your hands & scrub with Ranger's Craft Scrubbie...
like magic, you'll have clean hands...
and one more thing...
just got an email that my Clearly for Art has been restocked...get it now if you need it!
the art parts sampler pack is back too...
and they also have a set with all tim's new distress stickles...
and the new Ranger Perfect Pearls mists will be added over the weekend...
well... I better quit & go USE that Craft Scrubbie...
Have a good one...
I hope you can shop &
make art!
wendy
ps...so I have this set of stamps that NEEDS a new home...
just saying...
and checking to see if you actually READ to the end! ha!

Your trim looks absolutely gorgeous!! I need me a scrubbie...having a two year old I really want my hands clean when doing up her food etc. and even though the ink may not be toxic...still I prefer it off my hands before handling her food!
Of course we read right till the end silly
Read to the end??? I read it twice usually! Can never get enough. I'd love a new set of stamps, thank you Miss Wendy!

Too funny...love the use of the super little font to see if we're paying attention.
Have a great weekend!
been waiting for the craft scrubbie
forever! Now, when will the craft sheet by the yard b available?!
the ribbon is beautiful!
lol, Yes, I too read to the bottom! Thank for the chance to win a set of your stamps! Thank you!! :)
That butterscotch trim is a beauty!
I have a nice home for ....uh , stamps... here in MD- I'm just saying.... Surrounded by some other friendly stamps... You know, in case that stamp set needs a new home... LOL!
Carol
What good does reading your posts do if you don't read all of it?! LOVE butterscotch:)
Now I am craving butterscotch candy (and ink), it looks so yummy. Wondering if the scrubbie also leaves your hand smooth.
so glad to hear Clearly for Art and art parts are back in stock...and now...i need about 5 craft scrubbies...stat! heehee!
Ok Wendy..they always say the end is the best part, and i agree especially when something is said about a stamp set needs a new home..........well, this house welcomes anything ........i just picked up 2 scrubbies,,,,,thought i was crazy but i got an extra one for the bag on the road.........is there any special way to store these, ,,,,,,like maybe a soap box that has holes for air......well kiddo, have a good one........by the way, how is your brother doing these days, have not heard anything about his progress after you gave his shot...............take care, hugs,
Great idea!!! I've been doing this plus adding water if I want a lighter color but not in a ziploc. I get my hands all grungy!!! Which brings me to your next thing, I can't wait until I can get my hands on one of those scrubbies!!!
OH, to play with new stamps...
What a terrific idea for dyeing trim. I am forever dyeing things and going through elaborate Rit, Koolaid, coffee, tea...in other words, all sorts of concoctions to dye ribbon. This looks so quick and easy and makes it possible to pull things together. Thanks for the great hint...Suz/Katsui
I have some trim that could be dyed; this would be nicer than tea or coffee grounds. And color-coordinated to boot! I could definitely use a magic scrubbie. Who needs nail polish if I just keep my hands turned palms up...much more colorful than plain old nail polish! lol
Must read EVERYTHING you write, Wendy, cuz, you know, making art is in the details! I love that the craft scrubbie is available, and also the perfect pearls mists are coming soon (yay!), and that you can color the trim with any re-inker, and that your clearly art parts are back in stock and that one of your stamp sets needs a new home :) Have fun this weekend, dear lady ~
Judi
We read every last drop! Thanks for the tips. Love your new stamps, just got your binders and working on "Making some Art" with them.
Sue B.
I went to dinner tonight with red inky hand guess I need to do some shopping. . .I too always read to the end but I tell you that small print is getting hard to read!
Oh check that out! I just bought four of your stamp sets at a local store last week. Now if only I can find all of those yummy Ranger ink colors you keep mentioning... my fingers are hungry!
Well I always read to the end...the end is usually the best part...because you always say....Make art! That's what we visit your blog for...making art! Hope you have a great weekend...and please do update us on your brother.

I love, love all of your stamps! And your work. And your attitude about art. Art should be fun and sometimes for no reason and you pass that on so well. I don't have any of your stamps yet, gotta save up. Just sayin...
Did I read at the end of your post that a certain something was needing a home. well.... here's wishing.
Love that colour as well
Of course I read to the end! I usually read your posts at least twice. Thanks for the ideas on coloring the trims! Love it!

Of course I read to the end, and all the tiny print etc. Love your posts and that trim is absolutely "da bomb"!!!!
I would like to nominate myself as a good caregiver for stamps that need a new home!! My black lab was a "hand-me-down" from a family from church. My 83-year old mother has moved in with me in the last 3 months (though I'm not sure I care to characterize THAT situation as "hand-me-down"!!) Just saying.....
Gotta find that clear stuff & the scrubbie thing. Your samples of the clear were just too cool!
Need a couple of those scrubbies for sure. Glad it works for guys too! Thanks for the tip on the trims.
Of course I read to the end of your post even the small print. I have to see how you use make art, it's like the "Good Night Gracie" of Blog Land. Now about those stamps....
I have a wonderful stamping/crafting room with very friendly stamps just looking for that special set to join us for inky fun. Your stamps in need of home would feel loved and welcomed!
I LOVE how that trim turned out!
That scrubbie is on my "must have" list too.
Homeless stamps...does it get any sadder then that?
What a fantastic idea. Must try it.
Thanks for sharing.
I have a home that needs some new stamps, I'm just saying!
Fooled you....all of us read to the end!
Now I hope you do! Since I am like 60 some posts down!!!!!

Great to see you today even though it was very brief.
thanks for telling us about a new way to use reinker. I need to get the scrubbie. And of course I'd love another stamp set. Like shoes, you never can have too many!
Yes I read to the end. Cool way to use the reinker. I'm going to have to give that a go.
I do need to find that scrubby. I always get totally inky before some business or formal function...
Wendy -
I'm so hurt that you think I would not read to the end of your blog entry - boo hoo. Your blog is the most interesting one for me to read (well look at). Why? because I get such a kick out of all the different font sizes and colors you use. They are like window dressing for your blog, like bits of bling that pop out at you!
I've ordered your Art Parts and Clearly for Arts. Can't wait to get my hands on them!
Elaine Allen
You're funny. Of course, I read to the end! Now, do I really NEED to bring a homeless set of stamps home?...You betcha! (And I really DO need to bring one of those scrubbies home. Associates at work are wondering just what I'm doing at home when they see my inky fingers.)
All you followers read to the end ... can't wait to get my hands on a scrubbie (no pun intended) ... I have used the reinkers in the bag to cover other ribbons and even seam binding .. works great ... love your postings as I learn so much ... thanks for sharing
