chemo sucks

and I HATE lymphoma too...
I sat thru yesterday looking @ the bag of poison being infused & kept thinking...
DIE YOU ROTTEN A** LYMPHOMA CELLS...

Here's the Paul report...yesterday was BRUTAL.
Got only half his chemo (1st treatment) and the second half is today.
I'm hoping today is easier for him...

On a brighter note, I plan to post another art parts reveal tonight when I get back.

Thanks for being patient...and a MILLION thanks for all the AWESOME comments & emails about art parts. I'm TOTALLY THRILLED!

Just you wait to see what's coming...and I already have a list started for CHA Winter 2011. GEEZ...
I think our BFF Arnold adds addicting substance before he cuts. I'll check that out...

Later tonight, my friends...

Art Parts = more options to...

make art!

I couldn't agree more, Wendy - chemo does indeed suck. But, remember, it will make your brother well again - it WILL! We're all praying & keeping the faith for all of you, and sending you lots of hugs.

We're all praying Wendy that this works and your brother returns to health again. Keep your chin up and never doubt the power of prayer.

It is tough but your brother is strong. My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma almost three years ago - he went through almost 10 months of chemo and is cancer free today. It is hard to see your brother go thru something like this, I can totally understand - there is hope !! stay strong and enjoy every moment you have with him - good or bad

Prayers for you, Paul and your family. Remeber to take care of yourself too.

chemo does suck. i've had NHL for 12 years now and i had treatment when i first found out. i got bald, i got fat but i'm here. they're always finding new ways to treat all cancers. that's what keeps me going. i kinda liked the bald head, it saved me from lots of bad hair days!! :p i wish all the best for you and you're family!!

Oh Wendy that is so sad about Paul. I hope it will get easier for him. You are right that stuff is poison. I will pray for all of you. Paul is lucky to have you for support with you having been a nurse (and you still are). Take care.

Probably the most difficult thing is to watch someone go thru that. My thoughts and prayers for your family.

Hey hunny .. I am sending a MASSIVE hug from across the Pond for you and Paul and Rick of course... I am a lucky one and haven't seen Chemo close up on a loved one but have been nursing on oncology wards and what the patient has to go thru is nothing short of hell... I just pray that the Chemo will do the trick and get rid of those nasty cells... in the meantime... another HUGE HUG... and my thoughts are with you and yours... lotsa love hun xxx

Hang in there Wendy and remember we are all praying for the best outcome for him. Chemo is very nasty but keep in mind hoe successful it has been.

Maybe it will get easier for your brother as he goes along with the treatments. I sure hope so. It has to be pretty strong to do the job.

Look forward to seeing some more of your new things. Love what you are doing.

Saying my prayers for you and your brother. You are doing what you are supposed to be doing...being moral support! And that matters...wherever this path takes Paul...we all need to know we are loved...especially when we are sick. It helps one bear the unbearable. We so easily come to believe that we are only lovable because of the things we do. When we are sick...we truly are only human beings and to find out that those around us still love us because of who we are and not what we do is one of the greatest gifts that we get from dark times like these. And although I know how you feel about the cancer...hate and love can't exist at the same time. Loving Paul is more important than hating the cancer. Just some thoughts from the hinterlands from somebody who has survived much...without love I wouldn't have. God bless.

Unfortunately, as a nurse, you know too much right now and that makes this even harder for you. You and your family are in many hearts and prayers as your brother walks this path. I hope that you can find some peace in this and in using your talent to make art.

I saw one of those magnetic ribbons for car bumpers that said cancer sucks. I so relate to that with my MIL going thru these chemo rounds also. This is her 3rd battle. I hate that she has to endure this poison they use. My thoughts are with you and Paul.
