Another set that will, one way or another, make it's way into my collection. The projects are super, as always. Hey, can you push some of that rain south? We've had less than 1/2" all month when we usually have about 4.75".

remnants of art...
hello & happy weekend!
I have another fun new studio 490 stamp set that needs a new home...
this one is titled...
remnants of art...
this set is so loaded with rubber that the ruler stamp, which has a coordinating art part, had to be placed on the storage sheet sideways...
the giant background is fun to use as a whole stamp & it is also great to cut apart & use some of the words individually...
and speaking of remnants...
if you're a frequent blog reader, you know that I HATE to waste art supplies...
and I'm always digging something out of the trash in the studio...
below is the new art parts large sweetheart frame...
I peeked this a few weeks ago...
it's covered with scraps (remnants) of tim's kraft resist paper...
I applied matte Glue N Seal to sections of the frame, then randomly added left over pieces of the paper...
none are the same width...
I just used up whatever I had...
I brayered them for a strong bond...
if you use a brayer when gluing paper to a surface, you'll see the bond is quick & strong & that the paper edges don't lift...
once the heart was completely covered, I inked it with vintage photo distress stain, dried it, then distressed the edges with the blending tool using walnut stain ink...
and lastly I added black soot with the blending tool to add a little extra distressing @ the very edge...
to finish the frame, I inked with new art parts flourishes with
walnut stain distress stain, dried them, then misted them with the new (quickly becoming a favorite)...
it creates awesome...vintage looking bling...
the saying pretty much describes me...
it's true...
I wanted to add something "unusual"...
the vintage handle is a flea market find & was a good fit...
the Random generator chose #7 today...
the lucky winner of the "speaking of art" stamp set is...

so you have all weekend to comment...
I leave you with this thought...
the moral of today's post is to USE those remnants...
don't toss them...
you can use them to...
make art!

PS...

here &
and FOR sure you'll want the picket fence distress stain...
it works well with all the stains & all the distress inks too!

speaking of art...
welcome to studio 490 giveaway #5...
this set is called
speaking of art...
and tomorrow, it will be headed to a new home...
it could be YOUR home...
just leave a comment...
we'll draw a random winner @ 7am tomorrow...
Chicago time...
that's all it takes...
today's set has two stamps that coordinate perfectly with 2 new art parts...
the pencil & the pen nib...
this is cool because they can be created in any color you need, just by changing the ink color...
rubber stamps are really versatile & I'll show you 2 quite different variations of one stamp, in the photos below...
the first uses the "artist definition background",
to make a more traditional/classy gift...
the base is an art parts small creative cover...
the art parts covers are the perfect starting points for a project,
because they are just a nice solid surface...
they are VERY reasonably priced...
they (and all art parts) accept tim's distress stains like a dream...
they can also easily be inked with the blending tool & distress inks...
or sprayed with Adirondack Color Washes too...
or...painted...
or covered with patterned paper...
the art parts flourishes are new...
as is the 6 petal art parts flower...
the beautiful bling button in the center of the flower is from Maya Road...
the cool pearls are from Prima...
sorry this was my last piece & I'm not sure of the exact name or even if they are still available...
here's the traditional look...
using the "artist definition background"...
next is another member of the DOOR KNOB family...
you'll see LOTS of new art parts here...
the wings...
the large queen...
the umbrella & the flower...
a few of the details...
it's hard to see, but there is a clear tim bauble hanging from the umbrella, to look like rain drops...
to make the tiny hole in the umbrella, I used his drill punch...
she has a spider on her nose...
and the mini crown stamp turned upside down to make eyelashes...
the white dot in the eye is Ranger's Inkssentials white pen...
and I used Ranger's Cut N Dry nibs to color in the small areas (lips & eye)...
and here's the same "artist definition background" used on the wings, for a funky/edgy effect...
so totally different from the first project...
the wings were inked with the new mustard seed distress stain & stamped with my new favorite vermillion archival...
this color combo just speaks to me...
again, the drill punch makes the perfect sized hole for jump rings...
and I LOVE that the hole edges are perfectly smooth...
so the moral of today's post is that rubber stamps are versatile...
they can be anything YOU want them to be...
and now today's winner is...

art by hand...
today I have another brand new,
hot off the press,
studio 490 stamp set to give away...
compliments of Ted & Michelle of Stampers Anonymous...
this is...
art by hand...
this set has 3 coordinating art parts, perfectly sized for the scissors, the thimble & the mini spool stamps on this set...
the scissors are in the top 5 of my most fav new art parts...
it's fun to paint them with Ranger's Adirondack metallic paint dabbers,
I used silver...
dry the paint...
then use jet black archival to ink the scissors stamp,
press the art parts scissors onto the inked stamp,
lift off & dry...
I like to make a tiny hole & insert one of tim's mini fasteners in the screw area on the scissors...
tim's cute drill punch is perfect...
or use an awl...
that one tiny detail makes all the difference...
and a cool discovery...
you can mask off the words on the giant background (with a post-it note)...
and the word "spools" is a perfect fit on tim's spool die cut...
it's part of the large "sewing room" Sizzix Alterations die...
I love it when things are unplanned & simply...WORK!
below is a shot of the art parts stamped thimble too...
that stamp has so much detail...
if you'd like a chance to win...
art by hand...
just leave a comment & I'll choose the winner @ 7am tomorrow...
are you wondering who won yesterday's 2 stamp sets???
#1 goes to...

stamps, boxes & birds...
it's 2 on Tuesday...again!

compliments of TED & MICHELLE!
so if you'd like to win...

and if you'd like a chance to win...
BELIEVE IN ART...
just leave a comment...
again...
the winners will be chosen @ 7am Chicago time, tomorrow Wednesday July 27th...
I mentioned yesterday that even though it was 99 degrees here with 99% humidity, I am in full spring cleaning mode...
I need to make room in the studio for things I use every day...
and have them close by, in the drawers right behind me...
things like new art parts...
and all the new archival inks from Ranger...
all tim's new flippin awesome distress stains are in a cute box, right on my island...
I waited sooooo long for them,
I can't let them out of my sight...
if you think I'm kidding...
I'm NOT!
so the 2 giant drawers behind where I stand look like this...
FULLLLLLL of alphabets & numbers in all sorts of different fonts...
some metal...
some chipboard...
some fabric...
and I have LOTS...
here's drawer #2...
I really need the space & I need to part with them...
here's the scoop...
I divided them up into 12 MEDIUM sized USPS priority boxes...
and then filled the boxes to max capacity...
the assembly line looked like this...
in addition to LOTS of alphabets & numbers...
I filled the boxes with extra class supplies from my retired classes...
so...lots of stamping surfaces...
tags...
(NO PAPER)...
lots of chipboard (think Maya Road)...
some fragments...
some ribbon & MORE...
and there are also 2 of these guys in each box...
I don't have enough to use for another class, so they are leaving, headed to new homes...
once you create 1, you'll want to do a second...
so there are 2 in each box...
this was one of my most favorite classes ever...
here's a few photos I found...
these guys are perfect for altering...
and so much fun with a million possibilities...
and plenty of metal embellishments...
the PO charges $11.00 for priority tracked shipping
and the box is $29.00.
making the total $40.00.
if you'd like one, just send an email to me...
wbv1213@me.com ***EDIT*** 11am..
ALL 12 are SOLD & headed to new homes. THANKS MUCH!
and I'll send you a PayPal request.
we'll keep this to US addresses...
international shipping would be high *I think*...
here they are again...
now about yesterday's stamp winner...
congrats to...

When I lived in West Virgina we had an air strip on our property for those guys who spray the crops amd you're right, they really fly low, it freaks you out when you watch them.
I'm always looking for products (i.e. stamps) that will make good artwork for the men in my life, you know because I have so many, ha-ha (big joke). Mostly for my Father and Step-Father.
Love all the new products Wendy, you are developing quite a line of products, they are all so spectacular. Thanks for the opportunity to win something.

planes, door knobs & the giveaway starts!
life is NEVER dull here @ Green Acres...
if you have followed previous posts, we've had skunks, raccoons, and a GIANT bee hive thingy...
today we were having coffee on the deck & saw this...
a low flying airplane...
really low...
and headed right for our house!
YIKES...
he was spraying the crops & he was so low we could wave to him...
now on to business...
I had a few questions about how I got the words into tim's new birdcage, so I thought I'd show you how simple it is...
just open the jump ring...I use the hemostat...
and pop the pieces apart...
you now have a nice flat back that can easily be papered or stamped...
or both...
you'll see that there are tabs on the solid back piece...
and those tabs fit right into the slots on the base of the rounded part...
this holds it nice secure, after you put the jump ring back in...
I also had some questions about how Mr door knob was put together...
here he is from the front...
and the back looks like this...
a craft stick fit perfectly into the hole in the door knob...
when all the parts were assembled, I used hot glue to partially fill the knob, then pushed the craft stick in place...
& held it straight for a few seconds...
since he will be traveling to all my teaching events & will be packed & shipped...
I wanted to make sure it's nice & sturdy...
it is!
this was fun...
my new art parts fish...
stamped with jet black archival & the coordinating fish stamp...
then inked with broken china distress stain...
I added some shading with the blending tool & brushed corduroy...
you'll see, I hope... that I didn't mist the entire fish with the Perfect Pearls Mist...
but instead, I misted the new BRONZE PP Mist onto my craft sheet & stamped the fish into the Perfect Pearls...
then restamped the fish...
this places the Perfect Pearls right over the jet black...
for a fun effect...
the sand was made by randomly taping matte Multi Medium along the bottom of the ATC (using my finger) and then I sprinkled distress embossing powder over it & let it air dry...
it creates a nice textured effect...
Glossy Accents makes cool bubbles...
now about that GIVEAWAY...
here's the first of the 6 new stamp sets that will be given away here on the blog...
it's called ART FOR MEN...
and it has the fish I showed above...
the other 6 sets will be given away next week...
one a day...over on the group...
if you would like to have a chance to win
ART FOR MEN...
and promise to give it good home & USE it...
you just need to leave a comment...
it's very SIMPLE!
we'll have a random drawing @ 7am Chicago time,
tomorrow Tuesday July 26th...
to give this set away...
HUGE THANKS to TED & MICHELLE...
for the blog prizes...
ok...even though it's 99 degrees here...
I'm spring cleaning in the studio...
more on that redo later...
gotta make room for new art parts & cool STUFF...
and I need it nice & neat so that I can relax &...
make art!

ps...see you tomorrow with another new stamp set giveaway!

now that was FUN...
happy Saturday!
I'm back from an absolutely flippin' fantastic CHA...
it was over the moon fun, hard work & lots more FUN...
working with the team @ Ranger and of course the Stampers Anonymous family make all the difference...
then add to the mix my Brit friend, Lady Dy...all the way from the UK
& of course Tim & Mario...
these people are all AMAZING & so fun...
I love to spend time with people who GET this art...
as I was telling Rick about all the CHA ***happenings***...
more on that soon...yippee!
I realized that this craft, combined with the internet,
allow us to have friends from all over the world...
I HAVE to say it again...so FUN...
and speaking of FUN...
THANK YOU Ted & Michelle for giving me...
ALL 12 of my new stamp sets...
yes...to be given away!
here's what I've decided to do...
I don't have all the details worked out just yet...
so we'll start next week...
my thought is that I will randomly give away a set a day
here on the blog, for 6 days...
then the other 6 will be randomly given away
on the "everything wendy vecchi yahoo group"...
like I said...this will start next week...
so you have time to join, if you'd like...
hey...
your chances are much better than winning the LOTTO & they are a GREAT group of gals...
now before I left, I told you that you just might want to start collecting vintage door knobs...
here's the first of the "door knob people" I had displayed @ CHA...
this uses lots of new art parts, which are shipping SOON!
very soon...
I'll keep you posted...
some clearly for art...I used just 2 petals from this stamp...
some of tim's current idea-ology goodness...
and some new idea-ology...
OMG...
that birdcage about made me faint...
it's flippin' cool...
it was SIMPLE to drill a hole in the idea-ology leaf with tim's drill punch...
to accept the jump ring...
here's a better look @ the base...
the sprocket gear was altered with Ranger's metallic mixative in gold...
and speaking of mixatives...
wait 'til you see the new snow cap mixative & how it works with alcohol inks...WOW!
I just *might* have scored one to give away here...
yes...I *think* I did!
stay tuned...
and the new bird cage...
it's much larger than I expected...
it's about 1 1/4th inches tall...
I like that the back is removable, allowing you to stamp on it...
or cover it with paper...and to add dimensional objects...
I used my new stamp...ALWAYS. PLAY. HARD.
it's really close here...
not sure that you can tell that the words are raised???
next is ***important*** shopping info...
I wanted to *alert* you to some things I used in book #5
& that I'll be using in upcoming posts here soon...
first of all ...yes all caps...
FINALY...the wait is over...I'm in heaven!
next is a handy dandy gadget that I use LOTS...
it's the hemostat you see in the photo below...
I found a way to create dimensional durable flower centers, using clearly for art (CFA) BLACKOUT...
but you can use all 3 colors...
since CFA needs to be heated to be shaped,
you CAN NOT use just your fingers,
so this tool is the way to go...
I'll show you how to use it in a fun book project...
for those who have taken my classes, you already know that we use a hemostat for jump rings & believe me...
if you are jump ring challenged, the hemostat is all you need...
the other thing I noticed when editing the book, is that some of the new art parts are pretty small & too detailed for inking with the blending tool...
so for inking pieces like the mini queen & the lamp post, Ranger's Cut N Dry nibs are perfection...
and a very cool discovery...
using clearly for art with Ranger's new foil tape sheets...
it's is the coolest combo...
I demoed this @ CHA...
more soon...
ok...gotta finish unpacking...
then I'll...
make art!
wendy
see you next week! let the giveaways begin!

FINALE Friday...
happy FINALE Friday to you...
thank you so much for allowing me to tease about new products...
I hope it was fun...
today...the teasing is OVER...
this is the final new stamp set...
it's #12 and it's called...
"dressed for art"...
I adore this gentleman...he has attitude!
not only is he a stamp, but he also has a coordinating art part...
just ink your stamp & lay it rubber side UP on your table...
press the gentleman art part right onto the inked stamp...
lift & in 5 seconds you have created a custom accent for your art...
out of clutter is a saying I love...
I like the font combo too...
if you read yesterday's post...
I TOLD you I'd bring back memories...
don't make me turn this car around!
embrace. the. adventure.
simple...
use just EMBRACE on lovey dovey cards...
live. your. best.
another simple saying...
it's easy to use these words individually too...
keep your eye on the prize...
this is something Ted (Mr. Stampers Anonymous) says all the time, and that explains his name under the quote...
keep your eye on the prize...
work hard & have success!
the giant background...
is another vintage flea market find...
it was falling apart, but with help from the computer genius Zach @ Stampers Anonymous...
we now have a fun new background...
I like this one because it has some open space & that way another background can be stamped over it, without being lost...
you should always be...
dressed for art!
look @ this cutie...
this new art part frame is a biggie...
it's 5 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches...
and it can be used horizontally or vertically...
finally I can show you my favorite...
film strip frames...
for 6 pieces total...
the cutouts give you 2 extra solid bases to use for art...
OR...you have 2 pieces to make a book...
even though art parts are solid & sturdy,
the CROP-A-DILE punches thru art parts like magic...
I've done several projects with this film strip frame...
in love...seriously in love with it...
there is a fun project included in book #5...
which makes a great gift...
I'm thinking scrapbookers can add family photos for a great holiday gift item...
it's NEVER too soon to start working on gifts...
it's not that far away...
I combined today's new stamps & art parts to make this...
I have another art share today...
this next piece is a tribute to Ted & I'll tell you why...
he is special...
he is a Shriner's crazy cop...thus the hat...
I used his quote on the new art parts hand...
and when you check out the art parts ruler @ the bottom...
keep in mind that
Ted's dad originally started Royal Acme with the typesetting process...
so, lots of significance for Ted...
this was fun...
oh...and did you notice that I used the new mini mustache art part as his ascot?
and tim's light bulb as the doorknob with the new art parts door plate?
since today is Finale Friday...
I thought this was appropriate...
the back of book #5...
it's true...
I DO love a day with a happy ending...
now when is all this stuff shipping?
Ted said the stamps are READY...
they have LOTS of sets done & ready to ship...
and they have been working on art parts for over a month...
but...keep in mind that whoever orders first, gets their order shipped first...
so, if a store orders after CHA...
keep in mind that CHA orders ship first...
so if your store owner is attending CHA, they can place their orders there & get quick shipping...
I see that my 2 favorite shopping spots both RUN to be among the first to place orders & be @ the top of the shipping list...
they wave when they RUN by...
I'm sure that Heidi @ Simon Says & Daisy @ eclecticPaperie will let me know when their orders have arrived & rest assured...
I WILL let you know the minute I hear that stamps & art parts are in the house...
book #5 is last on the list for shipping...
but that's ok...
get your stamp supplies first & you'll be READY to make some fun projects...
my *guess* is that book #5 should be ready
around September-ISH...
I'll keep you posted on that too...
I will try to TWEET from CHA...
so if you follow me on twitter, you'll see some project photos...
again...
thanks so much for your friendship & support of studio 490...
I'm anxious to hear which ONE stamp set is your favorite...
and which ONE art part set is calling to you...
YIKES...
there's not much time left to...
make (CHA) art...

believe in art...
here we go...
NEW studio 490 stamp set #11...
"believe in art"...
I loaded up this sheet with so many images that we had to put some sideways on the storage sheet...
YIKES...it's a stamp overload!
the tour starts on the left...
another flea market find...
this "vintage ad" has so many elements/words that can be used alone...
you can bet I'll be using "plants & flowers" as a sign...
the mini clothes are fun to cut out & layer for dimension...
this works with the steampunk craze too...
"she opened her eyes"...
a fun saying for altered projects...
"who you are"...
simple but true...
I used this framed in the square art parts book plate for one of the projects in book #5...
this is a good stamp for using the individual words...
and it's fun to color in the open letters...
"she always felt different from the others"...
another fun saying for edgy art...
I *think* I'm liking the word edgy...
do you?
"she was certain she could, so she did"...
I wanted more sayings to use with faces, birds & butterflies...
it's also good for a graduation card...
promotion @ work etc...
"she believed she could be"...
another fun altered art saying...
like above, good for a graduation card...
promotion @ work etc...
or just a pep talk...
and finally..."normandy lace"...
another vintage find...
this is a large background/border...
good for stamping on a large area or use it as a background stamp for small art parts pieces...
here's "believe in art"...
the set with the sideways stamps...
this is called "potpourri of parts"...
and it is LOADED with 20 art parts...
as you can see, there are flowers, a stem with leaves that can be used with these flowers or any flower...
the leaves @ the top are sized for these stamps, or they can be stamped with any background stamp for unlimited possibilities...
I LOVE the layered lamps...
I love them so much I HAD to do 2...
one smaller than the other...
same with the flower pots...IN LOVE...
and the flourishes...I thought we needed 2 sizes...
this is indeed...
it's 5 1/8th inches tall...
it was designed to fit the new SERUM OF ART label...
I like to ink it, then crackle it with tim's rock candy crackle paint...
and then to make a seal with Ranger's Memory Foil Tape...
here's a mini peek of a project I made for tim's Advantus booth...
the editing is DONE for book #5...YIPPEE...
(yuck job!)
I'll get the BOOK prototypes @ CHA...
can't wait to see it in person...
and I'll try my best to snag one to give away here...
the cover looks like this...
with the SERUM of ART label I mentioned above...
after CHA, the art adventure starts again...
first stop is a brand new store for me with a cute name...
it's Cafe Crop...
it's located in Crown Point, Indiana, which I understand is not too far from Chicago...
so I can drive! I LOVE that!
I hope to see some Illinois & Michigan friends there too...
since this seems to be a good central midwest location...
Here's a link to the classes...
just scroll down to see them...
hope you can join the inky fun on Friday evening August 12th & on Saturday August 13th...
after that, I head farther east to The Stamping Place...
it's in West Columbia South Carolina...
a GREAT store...
an awesome classroom...
& a fun staff!
tomorrow is FINALE FRIDAY...
the last of the new stamp sets...
and the last art part reveal...
kind of sad that's it's over...
I *think* Friday's frame is my most favorite art parts LARGE frame...
and that's why I saved it for last...
thanks for stopping by & leaving comments & sending emails...
I LOVE hearing your thoughts...
see you tomorrow...
for FINALE FRIDAY...
I'll show you a project
that will bring back memories & I HOPE...
make you laugh...
until then...
make art!

remnants of art...
hello!
today is rubber stamp set #10...
this is called "remnants of art"...
starting @ the top is a nice skinny border,
"star mending cotton"...
it has lots of elements that can be used alone...
like the mini star...just use a circle punch...simple...
the rectangle 225...
and more...
it has nice straight lines, so it can be stamped on grungeboard & cut out, to create a dimensional embellishment...
another "ruler"...
this guy also has a coordinating art part...
or you can just stamp it, as is, for a border...
stamp it multiple times to create a whole background...
use the numbers alone, to highlight an age or date...
"out on a limb"...
just a fun saying for our art...
"success"...
simple, but TRUE...
"big girl panties"...
a little EDGY & fun...
and a giant background...
"ribbons & lace goods"...
is is an ad from a 1903 magazine...
I flat out LOVE it...
here's... "remnants of art"...
doorplates & keys...
it's 4 1/2 inches tall...
the heart opening is a fun spot for a mini collage...
this set is loaded with fun accent pieces...
when it's the neck for a mustache wearing queen...
hmmm...what else?
OH...today I do the final edit on Book #5...
that means I check for my typos...
make sure I didn't say anything too goofy...
Matt has done an awesome job getting it all formatted...
I'm impressed...
since the book projects use the new large art parts...
that means bigger projects with more instructions...
so this book is a whopping 49 pages...
as with book #4, there will be a separate catalog included in the package...
on a personal note...
Rick's brother was transferred to a major medical center yesterday with a medical emergency...
he's in ICU, waiting for the biopsy to be done...
we're hoping for today or tomorrow...
sadly, this sounds like a very similar situation to what my brother developed last year...
we did get to speak with his MD last night, so it's just waiting now...
an update about my brother, since lots of you have asked...
he's done with chemo...
PET scans have been good...YIPPEE!!!
he's back to work...
he has some complications from the chemo, which are annoying, but NOT life threatening...
his attitude is GREAT...
he never complains EXCEPT...
about the GROUND SQUIRREL ruining his GARDEN!
LOL...
PRIORITIES...
thanks for asking...
ok I'll be back tomorrow with more new stamps & another art parts set...
'til then...
make art!

2 on Tuesday...again...
2 NEW stamp sets that is!
first up is...
"rubber stamp art"...
here's my quick thoughts on these...
yippee...another ruler stamp...
this is the widest of the 3 ruler stamps, & it has a coordinating art part...
Fred B Tidy...can easily be used alone...
I used it on a art parts umbrella...
B TIDY would be fun to use with a messy child photo...
too bad I don't scrapbook...
"disclaimer"...
it just states a FACT...
hmmm...
looks like it fits the art parts book plate...
just stamp, then trace around the outside of the bookplate frame...
and cut inside the lines for a perfect fit...
"collector's edition"...
use as the title...
or on the back of your project...
or, use "edition" with a number...
"keep calm"...
everywhere you shop there are a million variations of this saying...
I thought STAMPERS should have their own...
with CHA fast looming...
I think I'll stamp it & wear it around my neck...
as a reminder to KEEP CALM...
"stamping diva"...
a cute mini stamp that says it all...
it's small & good for ATC's...
"I had NO clue"...
LOL...I think STAMPERS can relate to this...
buy one stamp = HOOKED big time!
I used it yesterday on the new large art parts HAND...
here's a very tiny peek...
"art is cheaper"...
just a fun statement...
"notes to self "...
perfect for a journal or mini book...
I had a specific project in mind when I designed this guy...
coming soon, to a blog near you...
"I collect"...
another FACT...
and the RUBBER STAMP ART storage sheet looks like this...
on to #2...
this one is called ...
"for the arts"...
"shoe prints"...
a fun border for guy projects...
works horizontal or vertical...
"newspaper guy"...
he is reading a paper called "the arts"...
he has a coordinating art part...it's in the set I have already showed...(mustaches, men & more)...
"shoe company"...
another find from a vintage 1901 magazine...
I like the font & it's a good filler stamp...
"cincinnati shoe co"...
another stamp from the same vintage magazine...
another good one for filling spaces in a background...
"blackola"...
yep...from the same magazine...
cute embellishment...
just use a circle punch...
"acting normal"...
I LOVE this for altered art fun...
and "the journey"...
I just like this saying...
simple as that...
and here's what FOR THE ARTS looks like...
say HELLO to...
ART PARTS WINGS...
there are 3 sizes of wings in this new set...
one PAIR of large...
one PAIR of medium sized...
and 2 PAIRS of the mini...
for a total of 8 pieces...
use them as a pair...
or use just one...
they are also sized to be layered...
stamp them with any background stamp, for unlimited possibilities...
use distress ink on them, mist them with tim's Adirondack color washes...
paint them...
cover them with paper...
use distress stains...
OMG...
FINALLY...we'll have ALL the stain colors...
that SECRET about killed me...
I wanted to shout it from the rooftop the minute I heard the NEWS...
the distress stains are the reason I decided to design the large art parts frames...
because the stains make it so simple & quick to get the base coat of color on large pieces...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE them...
enough about the stains...
I *think* you got the idea! LOL...
here's Simply Wings...
ok...that's the 2 on Tuesday post...
I hope you like these 2 new stamp sets & the new art parts wings too...
I still have 3 more new stamp sets & 3 more art parts to show you...
so that puts the finale on Friday...
THANKS again for your sweet comments...
I sincerely appreciate them...
I'm headed to the studio to...
make (CHA) art!
